Hearing Teddy Swims for the first time is like getting mugged...but with music. Here comes this Duck Dynasty hobo-looking dude and you're thinking, "Uhhh...no, I don't think so." And then he turns it loose and you lose the ability to speak coherently. And you're left sitting there thinking, "What just happened?" It's the reason I love watching "first time hearing Teddy Swims" reactions.

I heard him on CZcams and listened to all of his music. A couple of months later I am photographing an artist event and I get there early during sound check and why is he there! We laughed and talked like we knew each other.

A suggestion for music that goes straight to your heart would be, Roy Orbison. "Walk on", or "In Dreams". Roy Orbison was one of Elvis' personal favorites. Certainly worth a listen. Just started watching your videos and love to see you expanding your musical horizons. There is so much more to explore.

THUMPK! I think I just fell down this guy's rabbit hole... lol Where did he come from? I've never heard him or heard of him. He is richly talented. Through the whole song I sat here almost in tears as I know this song from Bonnie Raitt and she always makes me cry but Teddy sure did it justice...and at the end he wipes his eyes and I thought ohhhh... then comes, "There's sweat in my eyes..." lol He just broke our hearts and comes back and makes us laugh.
