@nuckenfuts12 - Well I didn't have the clutch set right at that time. It was brand new and set at a 1, and I am now running it at a setting of 4. I found that on steep hill climbs at 8000 feet like in Revelstoke, with deep snow, my rpm would drop to low 7000's. Now it is holding good at 8000. Good ear on picking that up. Big difference in Power now. I think on the same climb, I would just have to punch through that cornice. LOL.
Awsome climb!!!!!!! I poked up a hill similar to this on my 2001 800 summit x highmark 151 and all the new polaris and cats were getting stuck only one skidoo got stuck the rest made er up!!!!!!!!1
might help to drop a few teeth off the drive gear! geared mine down and it cooled the clutch off so it wasnt spinning so hard for nothing. there always geared way to tall from stock. good vid by the way. should be pulling 8200 i believe isn't it?
