  • The Ghost concealment shirt extends your Everyday Carry (EDC) capabilities by providing 4 zones of level IIIA ballistic protection. Our Flex Fused Core IIIA™ soft armor panels fit discreetly into front, back and side pockets sewn directly into the Ghost Concealment Shirt. This allows the Ghost Concealment Shit to be worn covertly under loose clothing with little to no “printing”, or visible outlines on top layers of clothing. Whether you’re out on the street, at work, school, etc. there are increasingly fewer opportunities to protect yourself. The Ghost Concealment Shirt and our Flex Fused Core™ IIIA soft armor provides protection against handgun threats up to .44 Magnum SJHP and .357 SIG FMJ. For maximum ballistic coverage, we include two 10”x12” front and back panels as well as two 5”x7” side panels with each order. Made of a breathable lightweight fabric similar to an athletic jersey, the Ghost Concealment Shirt is designed to be comfortable even when worn for long periods of time. When it’s time to wash the shirt, it’s as simple as removing the IIIA soft armor panels and placing the Ghost Concealment Shirt in your washing machine and it is machine dryable as well.

    I have been using the original Ghost Concealment shirt along with the Flex Fused Core IIIA soft panels for three+ years doing church security. They are very light and conceal very well. During the summer in Tucson AZ, as is the case for any body armor, you sweat a lot so it is advisable to order a second shirt only (no panels) which you can do through Spartan. It is strongly suggested you pay attention to the level of blunt force trauma you would experience with these panels, especially with higher caliber pistol rounds. Consider using a trauma pad behind the front panel or investigate the Armis IIIA panels for front and back. Spartan is a great company in Tucson and they deliver their merchandise quickly or you can stop by their store now that Covid is in the rear view mirror.

      I'm actually moving back to AZ, I know there's no avoiding the summer heat. How would you rate it for outdoor use in the heat? Also sizing wize im curious. I'm 5'11 150lb. Medium too small?

      Have worn outside during summer, you're gonna sweat. I am 6 ft and 200, usually wear XL shirts. For Spartan I wear a L.

      @@jamest.hazzard2899 I've had an extremely mixed opinion on this product design. I ordered a Medium. It ran long light some vest. The surprising thing was it was too large. And I'm barrel chest with almost no waist. I'm not skinny nor chubby. So I ordered a small. It still runs a little big on me. Even with the quality of the material. I find the soft plates sag from their weight. Also if you bend over slightly or have any spine natural spine definitions, it causes the back carrier to shift up or down. It actually is more visible than my 1st and only soft plate vest. The typical wrap around. It feels more cumbersome. Yet under clothing just makes you look heavier instead of the definition of a clear plate like the Spartan does. Also the Spartan side plates have massive exposure and do not completely protect your ribs or stomach. While I understand the concept and what your choosing to trade or sacrifice over a traditional vest. I honestly am disappointed and would hope for a better design. It did fit under my other vest. So I could technically go full out and wear both. Which is neat. I will say this.
      I ordered my vest. And it took 3 days to process the order. The day I received my confirmation, I got a text from Spartan Armor saying the back to school sale was now selling the vest for 30% off. I felt so idiotic and had buyers remorse and honestly felt a little cheated. I called and left 3 voicemail. Sent 2 emails. And I'll tell you what. Within 3 days they called me and said they have added the 30% cash value back to my account. Honestly kinda impressed by that. Overall good customer service for a 1st time purchase.

    Is it possible to use that shirt with the level III plates or even the III+? Or is it incompatible?

    • @SpartanArmorSystems
      @SpartanArmorSystems  Před 2 lety +3

      It's mainly an issue with weight. The soft armor panels only weigh about 1 pound so the shirt is able to hold them well. A heavier plate would make the shirt sag considerably.

      @@SpartanArmorSystems thanks for the reply! If thats the case is there anything more concealable for the level III and III+ plates? I want to have the peace of mind of rifle protection in this day and age and also stay discrete. Is there anything like that offered by you guys?

    • @SpartanArmorSystems
      @SpartanArmorSystems  Před 2 lety

      Not currently, though we are considering it. The problem is that anything concealable would be thin and flexible. If it were to stop a rifle round such as M80 BALL to be considered level III then the blunt force trauma would be devastating.

      yes if you want the shirt to fit tight so it has less of a chance of sagging and being visible through outer clothing.

      Our soft armor isn't, however we do carry our Armis IIIA hard armor that is stab resistant, super light and thin. You could buy the shirt and swap out the front and back panels with the Armis plate for added stab protection:

    • @SpartanArmorSystems
      @SpartanArmorSystems  Před rokem

      Hello Deaven,
      Unfortunately, our ghost concealment shirt is only meant to be worn with lightweight soft body armor since it is a shirt and any body armor that is heavier than 1.75 lbs, it will weigh down the panel and exposing your vital organs. We recommend purchasing the ghost concealment shirt with our Flexed Fused Core Soft Body armor, as those panels are light enough to fit in the shirt without causing the sagging.

      Normally $283.49 but they are 25% off right now for Black Friday. That includes the armor panels and shirt.
