Im 25 now (nov 7th) and since my rising is Capricorn and this years profection sign for me is in aquarius saturn second house I thought I should give it a go. OMG!! Due to my birth time of 12 midnight, many charts I've done have put my Saturn in the 3rd house. But I've just done another one today to look at my transits. Holy cow, everything you describe is my life. Experienced hunger, poverty and neglect as a child. Never bonded with my mother and we are estranged. I have four older siblings and we don’t talk at all… grew apart or didn’t bond because I was a later last born. Have debts that seem insurmountable due to going to college much later in life in hope to find a better paying career. I didn’t buy my first house until after age thirty…. I have savings now but always feel I need to save more. I’ve had a life long battle with self esteem, making friends that last, and finding a career that’s not a constant struggle to wake up and go to. I’m very frugal and work hard. But I’ve been restricted in my careers, never really achieving what I want but being pulled to take on more and more responsibility and leadership in areas I don’t want. I worry about being poor like my mother. I know there are plenty of wealthy folks that have Saturn in the second house and trust that Saturns lessons are crucial and that success is coming, just delaying.

Actually, there was less restriction when I was younger, i.e. 25 - 49, and more financial limitations now during midlife. My Saturn is 24 degrees in my natal 2nd house of Capricorn. Soon, transiting Saturn will will be joining my natal saturn in the 2nd, and I am not looking forward to it...
I also reflect a lot about my interactions with family. Am I interacting enough? Am I interacting in a good way? Am I really being a good family member? I think for my youth - the retrograde affected me in that my Mom basically raised me with no restrictions, yet there was an unspoken, unstated, set of cultural rules that were very present in the home, without being spoken. It was expected to self-regulate.

Wow I feel like my experience is very different from everyone else yet somehow a parallel. Im 25 now (nov 7th) and since my rising is Capricorn and this years profection sign for me is in aquarius saturn second house I thought I should give it a go. Also im saturn pisces second house native. My family is wealthy, from my dad. My moms side very poor, and I have always seen both worlds. Growing up I felt... smothered, by my mom intense love and protection and anxiety that something may happen to me because I was a sickly boy. This anxiety gave me intense constant fear as a child. I couldnt talk to other kids and even less adults. I felt like they all knew something I didnt, as if They just seemed to get it. I cant save money. I spend it all immediately, cocaine or clothes or just give it away to friends who dont have enough money and never pay back lol. And even though we are wealthy, my dad has always been very cautious with money, we only get what we should and even tho we attended the most expensive schools college etc, I always feel like friends within the same social class have so much more, because they do.
