I need to use the Airbrake for landing because it lands hot and need to use the reverse thrust right away to slow it down.
Your very right victor, it does like to land hot, the high alpha and air brakes made me able to slow it down even more after 25+ flights on it now

I added 4oz to rear of the EDF that made it even more balanced! It flys great and super forgiving
Do you think upping the timing made it any quicker? Think I'll be getting the 8s one when it's back in stock 👍🏾

Nice, do you run a pair of 5000 4S, or something else? I saw where guys were adding up to 4 oz lead to the tail with 6S version, so I wondered what size packs one can get away with in 8S and not have to add to much weight. Sure flies great!
Yeah I run 2 4s 5000mah CHNL 65c lipos and they are really great!!

My maiden didn’t , well actually the first 3 laps around was fine , then i was flying on mid rates 87% on ail/ elev. 30% expo then on any turn it was falling like I wasn’t using any back pressure . I switched to high no changed. , on long finial it crashed flat , not totaled but close . For the life of me can’t figure what went wrong ?
Was it nose heavy ?? The 8s 5000 only fit one way .. I did add the tail weight the kit came with . Bobby did you add more or if any ?
Last question , I’m using spektrum nx10 , this might be the deal . Was I suppose to go into wing type and choose eleovon? I just had it on normal , cause I thought the mixing was done up front .

I added 4 oz extra to the tail to get it to balance closer to the CG, The mixes were already mixed in this birg but in turns you defilnatly have to apply alot of up elevator or it will want to sink in turns. ive used 5000's in mine no problems and a NX8.

Except, one question, do you think a seasoned Avanti 80mm EDF guy like me can jump onto this awesome 90 Flying Dorito without too much of a learning curve? I'm looking to move up, I've the Viper 90mm, but believe it or not, I find it somewhat boring to fly at times. Like flying a sport airliner with a huge wingspan...
