I am not Jewish, except for a little over 10% Ashkenazi Jewish by DNA, which I recently discovered. I have always had an interest in Judaism, as I was raised in a city, Savannah, GA, which has a large and vibrant Jewish community. Many of my childhood friends and schoolmates were Jewish. That being said, my interest has followed me into adulthood and I have enjoyed so many Jewish videos, here on youtube and on the internet. I so enjoy the stories and the teachings, because they are practical teachings that have been passed down the ages about life. Christianity kind of does the same thing, in the words of Jesus (New Testament books of the Christian Bible), but for some reason, the Rabbinical perspective is particularly poignant to me and I have learned much from them. I'm so happy that these videos have been posted here for anyone to see and learn from, even non-Jews. May G-d forever bless you all, the Chosen People.

There is no such thing as a ten percent Jew. Every jew has a spark within him . Eish tamid. If you are a good person , that is your ancient Jewish ancestors, or genes which you call. Telling you right from wrong. You are a good person because when you were born god touched your soul.

If the Rebbe gave me a Tanya , I would have travelled through daesh land , to deliver it to my Jewish people in Yemen.

It is an example of the "Ruach Ha Kodesh," an example of Holy insight gifted to a Tzadik whose love of every Jew allows vision to help them. The Rebbe knew the question in advance. The man enclosed in the darknress os the Soviet Regime saw the light held out to him through the ight of the holy Tanya. Wishing you light and blessings. Bracha M.

He was able to answer the question of his followers without actually receiving their letters. The folded pages in the book contained the answers to their questions. It is Divine Insight as mentioned above.

each person found the answer that was right for himself (apply, don't apply) the Rebbe's wisdom was to know that there is no "right" answer - rather that each person knew, inside, what was right for himself. and the way our psychology works is that we filter information and focus on what supports our beliefs. so each person who felt conflicted (because what they really wanted to do was considered possibly the wrong course of action by others) found the information that supported their inner belief, and used the external authority of the Rebbe as a sort of "permission slip" to act on their true belief in which course of action was correct for themselves.

@@JoshuaFinancialPL this is not Buddhism, the story is not saying that answer comes from within, the Torah came down through Moses and then was expressed to the people. Holy people give guidance to the rest, the Rebbe gave very intentional directions as can be seen in countless stories like these. It is presumed that the directions he's giving are the directions are Creator is wants us to do as it is a commandment to follow the words of a true prophet. if it was an inward phenomena, the Rebbe would not be included in the story, it would merely take some meditation and prayer and the answer would arise, which can certainly happen in cases, but it is not what this story is expressing.
