I replaced his English voice actor with his Chinese voice actor because I preferred his Chinese voice and thought that the English voice does not match him. I kept everyone else in English cause I prefer their voices in English. Also, the mission A Rough Sleep would not trigger for me no matter what I did so I couldn't include it.
In my first ever playthrough, I originally was going for Arlo, but the whole him and Nora thing made me frustrated and didn't wanna pursue him any longer since Nora was also my friend. When Mint arrived, I knew he would be the one to walk me down the aisle haha ʕ♡˙ᴥ˙♡ʔ The developers really took their time on him because his romance route is so good. The way he ran off after the confession was so funny LOL
My Time at Sandrock just released for Early Access, and I will be playing that. The romance videos on Sandrock will not be uploaded until the full game releases which might be later on in the year. I gave Mint the heart knot and said i am confessing to you but it diddn't trigger the quest
Damn. This voice is way way better than the english voice for Mint. 😩 they could’ve atleast tried finding a similar to this one! 🫠
After my mint run, I got so used to his awkward English voice/persona!
He does sound hotter in Chinese, but it’s basically a different personality. He sounds like he’s more a guarded, workaholic hot guy, vs the sweet, awkward and hard working persona you get in English.
Omg that's how he sounds in Chinese? I was gonna go for him but his English voice turned me off... I wonder if I can change it?
You can change the voice audio language in the settings

i'm taking a really long time deciding if i wanna romance Him or Gust lel 😩✨✨✨
i ended up romancing Gust, but i want to make another MTAP character and romance Mint in the other playthrough (yeah i know i can divorce/break up with the current partner, but i just didn't have the heart to do it)
also i kinda think that they did Mint dirty with the english VA, it's not that bad but some part of the english voice acting does kind of rub me off, wish they fix that in My time at sandrock (i heard Mint is going to be a recurring character there 👀✨, not romance-able tho, unfortunately)

Gust’s romance was nice too but I think Mint’s romance is more developed than Gust’s so I definitely think you should go for Mint in another playthrough. I also don’t have the heart to divorce/break up with anyone which is why I make a new character every time 😅
They did. I saw a video of his appearance. They changed the voice actor. Its a bit deeper now hehe

Mint must be in Portia, introduced in a fireside meeting first.
This mission can only be triggered when Mint's schedule allows him to nap under a tree near Papa Bear and Oaks's house (when he is not working on the tunnel in the Eufaula Desert or on the Portia Harbor construction).

No, you do not need to do the mission. Simply give him the heart knot if you want to confess
how did you change only his voice lines?
I recorded every scene twice (one in English & one in Chinese) then I edited the audios for the video by replacing his English lines with the Chinese lines
