    Tempting, veeeery tempting!
    I like what you do with the progress bar for each section of the video. Everytime I think that there is nothing left to improve in your videos you improve!
    Also a beautiful demo track you wrote there. Thanks Kevin!

    Try just using the non piano layers and engine and layering with other piano vsts, works really well!

    Replaced Imperfect Sampling’s Fazioli Grand as my new favorite.

    Do you also have Heavyocity Ascend? If so, what are your thoughts about what Chroma adds to someone who already has Ascend?

    • @KevinKuschel
      @KevinKuschel  Před rokem +1

      Yes, I bought Ascend when it came out. Personally, I prefer Chroma. Primarily because of the UI/workflow. Ascend has a lot of options (e.g. automating the blend of articulations over time) but I never ended up using them. Chroma's engine is more straightforward and easy-to-use for me. I find Chroma a tiny bit more "playable" for me but that's subjective. I just get along better with it. But overall, I like both.

      This seems more Jazzy and classical. I typically like that etherial and dark piano sound. It seems I should stick to Ascend? I agree on the UI for Ascend though.

    Very keen to try this out, also - what DAW are you using for recording?

    5:22 are these rhythmic accents tempo synched?

    Hi Kevin. Thanks for your amazing videos. How does this piano compare to Noire?

    • @KevinKuschel
      @KevinKuschel  Před rokem +1

      Sorry, I don't have Noire. Heard that Noire is one of the best pianos for sound and playability. I think Chroma has a lot more sound design options with its engine. Take it with a grain of salt, because I couldn't try Noire myself, yet.

  • @simonpassmore
    @simonpassmore Před rokem +1

    I still think NI Noire is top of the list... this looks great though!

      Heard great things about Noire's sound and playability, but haven't had a chance to test it myself, yet.

      No way dude . go and compair the 2 pianos. This one has way more depth and dynamic range , best cine piano iv come across .

      @@rapinstrumentals but noire one is more emotional i tested both but i like noire more i can say chroma is more cinematic composition and noire is best for songwriter

    Wonder how it compares to Heavyocity Ascend 🤔

    • @KevinKuschel
      @KevinKuschel  Před rokem +1

      Both are great. Personally, I like Chroma's UI/workflow a bit more, the way you choose presets, and how you customize them with the engine. Sound-wise they are both great. Personally I find Chroma more intuitive to use, though Ascend has a lot of sound design and automation possibilities.

    How does this stack up to Asend?

      Hey, I replied to the same question below (or above? :D), have a look!
