I remember watching these and being fascinated enough to buy a launchpad. You never realize how difficult it is until you have a 64 key piano in all directions with no structure sound pattern (as in ascending or descending chronological ordered notes) and really truly appreciate how much time it must’ve taken to code it, and be able to share it learn it, and play it for CZcams and make it look and sound flawless. Your awesome Nev!

Also, for those who are having trouble opening the file and getting sound to work the way you want it, make sure you have the i-o button on so that you can see your MIdI in and out. The drum rack should be fine if you have it toggled to record on the track(project default) now for the lights.
Midi in from all ins/all channels. Midi to launchpad/channel 1 (or whatever channel is for your launchpad. If it says this already, And you're pushing a button, and it reads the signal, your computer is probably like mine and you need to go to the MIDI To in the lights track and select your launchpad again. Wait a bit, Then it will commence lights. The track is set by default to IN instead of Auto like the main track, so don't mess with that. To switch between the sections of music, you will need to use the side buttons. They are in order from 0-4, where 0 is VOL and 4 is STOP. Here is the order of how the song is split apart in accordance to the chain layout: 04312312
He even included a lights midi file so you can watch the lights and learn where the buttons are, but you have to change the sections (using 0-4) by yourself. Just drag it into an open area of your lights track right next to the main . Don't make a new midi track. Change it from IN to Auto. And for the Main track, change the MIDI FROM to lights/PRE FX. Otherwise, you will get a complete mess when the lights initiate.
As far as the missing files, simply go to your side bar after clicking that missing files notification at the bottom left of Ableton, and it will display missing files as (Freeze).wav and vocals.wav. if you clicked on the arrow next to it, it will drop down the file name and where it should be. Click on that file name, and it should take you to the exact button of where the sample is supposed to appear. There will be (Freeze) and Freeze- massive. Click on (Freeze) in the main window. No need to change to something different, it's right in front of you. Scroll the effects lane to the right and you should see something that says "sample is offline". So, in your Places section of Ableton, at the right, click on current projects. Then go processed/consolidated/ and freeze should be there for you. Click and drag it into that space that says sample is offline, and it should load. Don't put it anywhere else, or it will be gone. Follow the same procedure to find vocals.wav. its in the same folder.
Now, I would save this as Louder Live Final 2 so you can still have the original file. This is recommended for live 9 users.

WOW, this is absolutely astonishing feedback O.O This is my first project file to release and everything is very experimental. I expected some hiccups and you NAILED what I need to fix. Also the gap from Ableton 8 to 9 created some interesting bugs. Thanks a ton for this Tremaine!!!!
Oh, dude, I totally understand going from 8 to 9 and having hiccups. When I downloaded the project and saw that it had the live 8 folder icon, I was like "well, I totally have 9.. so, I gotta tweak this a bit" but most of everything was really well layed out. You did a fantastic job on this. Tearing this project file down was like Christmas. Especially finding out how your lights were set to chains. I totally learned a lot from this XD I do expect to see a tutorial on how you got your samples layered. And What the check is your hand made of?!?! Your speed is unbelievable with those taps!!!

***** no that's all. So it's kinda like playing drums where you gotta know where all the drums are except instead of drums it's sounds that he programmed
you proam each button to a different sound bassically
A sample of sound (of a music) is assigned to a button, pressed in certain order and rythm, you can play the song, then this is only the most basic description as you can have a few song samples on one button, then the trick is to find a compilatiion of lights and shapes to make he whole thing look good
Ok so there are different packs you can buy that have different beats, synths stuff like that. Then you take the synth or beat and drag that into a MIDI track then you should be able to play shit

something i've noticed with people who use a launchpad is the timing can be off. Some might not notice it but being a drummer and always playing to a metronome to improve my timing i've noticed it a lot in other people. But NEV..... You have no hesitations and have flawless timing with the actual song. Great job and I love listening to you play!
