You can hook them up to a pc and edit presets there in Nixie with a midi to usb device

I have an El Cap and a Time Line and I have to say they are amazing. I think you are on the nail on the Time Line and use it pretty much as you described in my studio rig, but on my basic jamming board I have I have an El Cap which I have had for years…it’s brilliant. I wouldn’t be parted from either for anything and think they are deserved of the hype.

100% deserving of the hype, they're really great pedals. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I'm now curious to hear about the demise of the Line 6 Helix and return to a stomp-box setup.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to tell that story without boring the pants off everyone :)

HX Stomps are staying on boards everywhere. The all in one floor units are losing popularity.

4:35 Hey Max, have you heard of Strymon Nixie? Its a software that you can use to create and edit presets.

So this is a great comment and it's telling that you're the only person to have said this, but I hadn't heard of Nixie at all. Not mentioned in the manual or as far as I could see on the product page. I'm not sure why Strymon wouldn't make a bigger point of this - except for the fact I'd have to buy a MIDI/USB adapter to use it because I don't have one. But still, other manufacturers have this kind of software and it's one of the first things they say about the products that use it. Why the big secret, Strymon?
