How do you stop it from continually chsnfing colour ?

Hi there, it appears your radio is stuck in demo mode. To fix this please follow the below instructions:
1. Press and hold the Channel Selector (Push Button) and the backlight menu will appear (BKLGT).
2. Then, briefly press Channel Selector (Push Button) and the (COLOR) menu will appear.
3. Then, to stop Demo mode press the ‘Menu F’ key. Then using the Channel dial (Like Changing Channels) set the colour to your preferred choice.

Think you can get the colour to change as your driving? Is that correct?

Yes, although we do not recommend doing this whilst driving.
