They casted this southern guy well. His voice and accent were annoying. They built the anticipation well. We all knew Hope was going to end him. It was just a matter of was it going to be quick or drawn out.

Hope herself gets to know and use the full extent of her powers. She is, below the gods, the strongest and most powerful being. That's why she herself was surprised when she just snatched his head away from ala DarthVader. Admittedly, it is not a real original by saying. But it is like an original in terms of blood. In addition, she descends from the first witch as a granddaughter and is a strong wolf as a crescent alpha. Yes, it's cool. Her current weak point is the perception of emotions as she has turned off her compassion and stress emotions such as love. That scene, and when they screwed this Markus, were my favorites. It's unfortunate that the main character gets so little screentime.
Wasn't Dahlia older than Ester and also a witch? They also seem to imply there were witches long before that given that story that Prometheus tells to Jed (which took place 5000 years ago) so she was the "Originals" Witch IE she created the Original vampires. But this is also why I am happy they might introduce people who can smack Hope about. There is 100% no stakes to the show right now.
They never called Esther the first witch they calls her the original witch because she’s the witch who created the originals vampires hence original witch
The "original" in "Original Witch" aka Esther, is referring to her creating the earth's original vampires but also just the Original Family in itself (similar to how Hope and Freya are Mikaelson witches because they're members of the Mikaelson family)

Legacies does scenes right, barley a lot tbh. But this scene is awesome to me. They didn’t do any flashy magic, no colorful stuff, just normal magic for tvd. And this was graphic in a good way. Hope was not over doing “badass” talk, she was badass in a very good way.

But i was also thinking that when hope does magic it’s mostly always blue and i wonder if that has to do with the fact that she is an ancestor of the hollow? I mean no one else of that bloodline were witches cause of the werewolf curse so i don’t have evidence to support that.

I do HOPE we get her to see Hope struggle a bit more in later episodes. I get she’s now the tribrid but even before that most of the time Hope just kicks people’s butt easily except when she’s up against an exceptionally powerful or smart being like Cleo or Aurora. Honestly scenes where she’s up against an enemy don’t even feel tense anymore because she’s stronger than EVERYONE! I HOPE (had to pun again) that we get the gods introduced soon so Hope can have a real struggle (or even have Aurora and Hope confront each other again).

Hope is literally the most powerful being after the Gods, her only problem is experience. She spent all this time suppressing her magical ability, that she barely got to tap into it’s true power. As The Tribrid she holds extremely potent magic naturally, magic other witches use dark magic to replicate a fraction of. Hope with 100-1000 years of experience would be a completely unstoppable force, I think. Her character had so much potential to be so so powerful within Legacies, but I guess that seems kinda realistic, because for her to be in ultra magic mode she’d have to have years of experience as The Tribrid.

Ken’s physical powers (e.g strength) are higher than Hope, but her speed seems to be on par or superior. I disagree on Dahlia and Inadu beating Hope, her magical combat is very good and on top of that she react faster as well as use her vampiric and lupine strength. I believe Hope is beating every TVDU character (alive and dead) apart from Ken.

i had a whole different scene, After he done talking n attack Hope.... we get to see she easily overpowered him in term of pure strength, making him realize how on earth is she stronger than him, with his face full of doubts n confused hope break his arms n push him to the ground leaving him crawling. She asks him, what happened to its not easy to fight vampires centuries older than you? She continues by saying Well just so you know you can be an ancient vampire but you'll never be stronger than an original tribrid. She uses telekinesis to suspend him on the air then cope off his head while he is begging for his life.

Otherwise, that dude would be pretty stupid to assume just because they are young looking or well adjusted to current times, they must be younger vampire wise.
Vampires are really endangered. They used to be extremely abundant in number but 1: mystic falls gang just had to kill Finn and kol, along with their sirelines, and Kol’s sireline was stated to be the most massive among the originals. 2: Elijah is dead now and his sireline also comprised of a lot of vampires. Klaus and Rebekah are the only ones with a sireline left but I doubt Rebekah has as many sirelings, and Klaus’s broken sireline is probably diminished because of Klaus killing all his enemies in season 5. Vampires = endangered and protected species.
There are still a lot more vampires compared to werewolves. (especially after Lucien's massacre). Besides, you're wrong about Rebecca's sireline. Although Rebecca herself may have turned few people, as she considered it a curse, but it is unknown how many vampires her descendants created.
As for Klaus' sireline, it's unlikely to have shrunk much. Klaus only killed vampires he knew. And there are thousands of vampires created by his descendants.

I do HOPE we get her to see Hope struggle a bit more in later episodes. I get she’s now the tribrid but even before that most of the time Hope just kicks people’s butt easily except when she’s up against an exceptionally powerful or smart being like Cleo or Aurora.
Honestly scenes where she’s up against an enemy don’t even feel tense anymore because she’s stronger than EVERYONE! I HOPE (had to pun again) that we get the gods introduced soon so Hope can have a real struggle (or even have Aurora and Hope confront each other again).
Aurora is nothing against hope nor Cleo

Hope is literally the most powerful being after the Gods, her only problem is experience. She spent all this time suppressing her magical ability, that she barely got to tap into it’s true power. As The Tribrid she holds extremely potent magic naturally, magic other witches use dark magic to replicate a fraction of. Hope with 100-1000 years of experience would be a completely unstoppable force, I think. Her character had so much potential to be so so powerful within Legacies, but I guess that seems kinda realistic, because for her to be in ultra magic mode she’d have to have years of experience as The Tribrid.

We’ve seen Hope is fast and powerful enough to speed blitz Ben (snapping his neck) and Jen ran away from Hope and Lizzie. Hope has much more powers and abilities than Ken, but his godhood makes him invulnerable to her magic. Ken’s physical powers (e.g strength) are higher than Hope, but her speed seems to be on par or superior. He also possesses the power of lighting (which is God magic) powerful enough to kill non Original Vampires with ease, but can only ever harm Hope. I disagree on Dahlia and Inadu beating Hope, her magical combat is very good and on top of that she react faster as well as use her vampiric and lupine strength. I believe Hope is beating every TVDU character (alive and dead) apart from Ken.
i would have prefered if she terrorized him first by saying who she is and everything she is capable of before killing him...just so he would be terrified.... it would low key be badass in my opinion
i had a whole different scene, After he done talking n attack Hope.... we get to see she easily overpowered him in term of pure strength, making him realize how on earth is she stronger than him, with his face full of doubts n confused hope break his arms n push him to the ground leaving him crawling. She asks him, what happened to its not easy to fight vampires centuries older than you? She continues by saying Well just so you know you can be an ancient vampire but you'll never be stronger than an original tribrid. She uses telekinesis to suspend him on the air then cope off his head while he is begging for his life.

Vampires are really endangered. They used to be extremely abundant in number but
1: mystic falls gang just had to kill Finn and kol, along with their sirelines, and Kol’s sireline was stated to be the most massive among the originals.
2: Elijah is dead now and his sireline also comprised of a lot of vampires.
Klaus and Rebekah are the only ones with a sireline left but I doubt Rebekah has as many sirelings, and Klaus’s broken sireline is probably diminished because of Klaus killing all his enemies in season 5.
Vampires = endangered and protected species.
There are still a lot more vampires compared to werewolves. (especially after Lucien's massacre).
Besides, you're wrong about Rebecca's sireline. Although Rebecca herself may have turned few people, as she considered it a curse, but it is unknown how many vampires her descendants created.
As for Klaus' sireline, it's unlikely to have shrunk much. Klaus only killed vampires he knew. And there are thousands of vampires created by his descendants.

It is unknown how many vampires her descendants created but it doesn’t change the fact that once she dies after living a human life, her sireline will die with her and Klaus will be the last one left (unless Kol sires more vampires)
