The chosen one of every game is the real scary one out of any boss. A simple being that endlessly hunts every enemy in its path, learning the most efficient way to dispatch them and capable of learning every form of fighting art, miracle, and sorcery.
List of our non official super powers (non exhaustive) : - Can learn any skill, weapon or spell in a flash - can resurrect - becomes invulnerable to any attacks when rolling for a brief moment - can teleport between graces - can consume runes to boost stats
Well yeah, I mean, who else would be able to wake up one day and suddenly decide to go on a crusade, killing kings, legends, knights, gods, monsters, and warriors alike. It’s like how the main character of every FPS suddenly knows how to fire every gun, as well as how they can handle the recoil and the sound. They’re just…chosen.
In defense of FPS games like CoD it's not uncommon for soldiers to get cross-trained with different weapons especially like squad weapons. Enemy weapons being used aren't uncommon, either, especially in modern wars. And special forces specifically tend to have interests in these weapons and US civilians have access to weapons similar in fundamentals which translate into military variations. This isn't to say that a person can and is going to pick up and perfectly operate a gun they find randomly, but they usually can get it to work rather easily. Swords are weirder in that it takes lots of skill to master the minute movements and biomechanics behind attacks.
What those guys said, while in some fs games, you are some hobo, (ds1 and 2 atleast, cuz in ds3 you have some experience from when you tried to link the fire and failed) and in ER you are an exiled/foreigner, depending on your starter class
Even just being a civilian sport shooter, once you know how to use a single weapon it usually takes very little time on a new weapon system before you can use it, aside from things like belt-fed machine guns since they need a specific order and method to reload.
This is even better with the Jar Cannon. Thr description tells us that basically the soldiers fighting Gelmir would be giving an extremely powerful weapom to turm the tides of battle. When they got the weapon... They had no clue what they were looking at and couldnt use it
That actually makes sense, since that’s why Jin is such a powerful swordsman. He’s able to learn through watching others and adapt to their style (like with the mongols) or can copy their movements (like the mythical moves). I mean if he couldn’t do all that, he probably wouldn’t have saved Tsushima.
@@Erra_Mortisit is just a really fast triple swing. Almost replicable with a real human swordsman, but obviously not as great as with video game physics. No supernatural things in Ghost of Tsushima happen, other than equippable charms, that can't be somewhat explained away by coincidental weather phenomena and/or drug hallucinations.

@@thalmorjusticiar1 Ok, we enter a grey area here. So, there is this common theory that she is actually blind since there seems to be rot completely covering her eyes. It is true that she theoretically could see through all that rot and probably has the eyesight of a rhinoceros. It has not been confirmed, and I don't remember any lore piece talking about her being blind. But most people "agree" that she is blind and the theories of her being blind are pretty sound so I choose to believe it
I like to think that the reason the bosses have unique abilities and the weapon we get is different from the moveset the boss uses is because we only have base level proficiency with said weapon. We use it for 5 minutes, cause a Richter 0.5. Godfrey uses it for 30 years, causes a magnitude 3.
I forget the wording but I like the way someone described the difference between scary and horror. Scary is big and loud it chases you and wants to kill you. Horror is quiet and seemingly frail, but it is *always* there and it doesn’t care about you.
What most people don't understand is that in ER we're not using a random tarnished, we're the chosen by the grace, wich makes us immortal + we have the power to channel the battle experience into strengthening our body (levelling up thanks to the maiden). Since the beginning we're destined for greatness and most NPCs realize this the moment we meet them.

To be fair, they still can tank 80 hits from us while only needing 3 whole hits to take the player down.
and they're taller.
and they are all rotted/crazy/both/injured malenia is using fucking metal hands and legs, she doesn't even has eyes when we met her even thr fire giant must be nerfed by an injury at the leg to let us kill it
The ones going all out at full power is Godrick, Mogot, Mohg, Maliketh, Rykard, Horalou, and the Elden Beast maybe, I've even heard an argument that it was weakened because the Elden Ring wasn't whole though.
The 5'11 Tarnished VS the 6' Demigods.
@@TheOtherGreyKnightactually Morgott wasn’t at full power, he uses some oh his power to maintain illusions of himself across Limgrave and Altus not to mention he didn’t actually use the power of his great ruin.
No greater show of pure and utter domination and strength from the bosses when your 5'11 and the bosses are 6 foot.
The dodges he had done in the video with the boss fight of malenia were beautiful and pure perfection
Agreed wish I could dodge that good xD I wouldn't get wrecked by her and certain other bosses so badly lol.
Yep the only move i couldnt Dodge, i think i can reply that moves now i've seen them with some try, but learning them by yourself Is pure perfection
worthy of standing side by side “Let me solo her”
I know how this is going to come out but it’s easier than it looks. Once you see her go up all you gotta do is run away. Then when she goes to do the second part you roll into her then do that again and your s will carry you. I was shocked when I first did it 😂 practice makes perfect (I suck at this game btw)
I learned how to dodge Waterfowl after the 2nd time of getting hit by it lol it's really not hard to dodge idk why everyone has so much trouble with her. I had more trouble with Maliketh.

This is super dope🙌🙌
You always learn it the second you get invaded while prepping for a boss
Swords are weirder in that it takes lots of skill to master the minute movements and biomechanics behind attacks.
i mean normally in fps you are a trained military what are you talking about
What those guys said, while in some fs games, you are some hobo, (ds1 and 2 atleast, cuz in ds3 you have some experience from when you tried to link the fire and failed) and in ER you are an exiled/foreigner, depending on your starter class
Even just being a civilian sport shooter, once you know how to use a single weapon it usually takes very little time on a new weapon system before you can use it, aside from things like belt-fed machine guns since they need a specific order and method to reload.
The tarnished slayed the fire giants, dragons and sorcerers before being banished. Your character is canonically an acconplished war veteran.
Doesn’t just know how to use it, also knows the spells and magic to use them effectively (ex:elemer’s magic from his hometown)

when you think about it, elden lord is a mockery of a title for us.
Dante be like:
It’s like if we were put into a fantasy world. “What if I… Oh lord it actually works?”
An elden ring anime would go so hard
That's why he is the elden lord. He can use everything.
This is even better with the Jar Cannon. Thr description tells us that basically the soldiers fighting Gelmir would be giving an extremely powerful weapom to turm the tides of battle. When they got the weapon... They had no clue what they were looking at and couldnt use it
Its like how Jin Sakai learns fucking Mythical moves just by watching it be performed once
Yeah Jin learning how to swing a sword differently is exactly the same as him using malenias sword dance bro 🙄
@@BeAsTMoDE528Have you seen one of the moves? The man literally just fucking teleports basically
Based, most MCs in souls like games know how to use every weapon and shield in the game, compared to most side characters and bosses.

Not only that but that mf has the ability to use whatever crazy move on whatever weapon he wants so theoretically the tarnisheds bag is INCREDIBLY deep
Tbf to Malenia, her “weapon” she had to get used to was literally a whole ass new arm
AND she was blind. Malenia is what happens when you take the bow away from Gough from DS1 and give him the power of anime. That dude could track you with his ears better than a mother could with an AirTag
@@yaboikiba4302 malenia isn't blind, her teacher is. her helmet might make you think she can't see, but there are slits at eye level.

Since the beginning we're destined for greatness and most NPCs realize this the moment we meet them.
