As a 4-year carat, the time they were promoting Fear were the darkest times for their mental health... I think they went darkteen with Fear because of the demand from fans, but after Fear, they went back to uplifting music, with Left & Right and then the album Semicolon being about taking a break, enjoying the journey, caring for your mental health... After Fear was also when they started taking their physical and mental health seriously.
I’ve always interpreted fear as the idol x fan relationship, and how toxic that parasocialism can be. It’s a look at themselves, the masks they wear, the “lies” and fanservice they provide, but how they’re so deep in the fantasy that THEY need that love just as much. My child got me into KPop and that part of the choreo in Fear during "oh oh oh yeah" we call the weird part considering the lyrics. Like "oh here the boys go, grinding again".
So I'm not okay. Um VERNON, Jun! Like Every single one of them, why? I will say that Fear is one of the songs by them that I had already on Spotify before I got into them and it's so good. Each one of them has a certain way of doing things and it's so hypnotic. Can I also say that the choreography video helped me alot more then the ones before in the close up face department. I remember after SVT kept dropping these type of darker songs they admitted that it was probably one of the worst times for them (excluding the pandemic since that's a year or two after), so I think it showed through their music as well. No matter what that tough time was I'm just glad they got through that and are still here and complete as 13.

I think you need to start reacting to their Japanese title tracks. I believe you're in the 2018-2019 era of SVT and they debuted in JPN in 2018 if I'm not mistaken. Their debut track is CALL CALL CALL.
Hit is one of my favorite songs! I usually prefer Freshteen but Fear is so good. They all look incredible especially Jeonghan! Someone once said that Scoups looks like a hot New Jersey gangster in Fear and now that's all I can see. 😂

Personally I prefer this way of doing the MVs/lyrics as I feel that we're more likely to be noticing the same thing. Plus the lyrics are really distracting and tempting when you're not meant to be looking at them.
