@@CrazyKidTrickShots so they all disappoint?
Dubai has amazing structures.
And it's really sad to see some not made.
I really hope that the Dubai Creek Tower will be made someday.
Yep, that's becuz COVID 19
The area where it was to be built has now 20-30 small skyline of 30/40 stories. It definitely gives a hope.
Due to Covid many projects worldwide suffered
@@sandeepmehta5311 yes
I personally don't like the area where Creek Tower was supposed to be built. We have our own projects there as well and I don't like our decision to purchase plots in that region either.
its under construction i am from uae and live dubai they are building small skyscrapers there so it gives us hope
So all megaptojects are basically marketing gimmicks to attract investments to city?
Clearly it's laundering of monies
Yup
That’s how commerce works I mean commercial is in the name
Not at all. Dams, railroads etc are built for the people.
No. You will forget all the Islamaphobic lies in this video.
im guessing its hard to sell tourism when you consider half of the species second class..

Another great video from Top Luxury
thank you!
Dubai is such a fascinating city to me because it's so modern and monumental. From 1970 when it had a population of about 50,000 to today where the population has grown to about 3.5 million, there's little doubt that its impressive present skyline is still just the beginning.
I disagree. I think it'll end up like the dusty old wild-west towns of the USA, complete with corruption and lawlessness and lots of guns.
There is only 1 resource (oil), and it doesn't have the sense of community or the history to attract people just by virtue of being a big city.
"modern" in an industrial sense.
That's a facade for the brutality of the government behind the city
sadly Dubai can be described as "on paper" since it has:
no culture
pretty boring to live in
terrible sewage system
and the skyscrapers can be weirdly placed
in conclusion, Dubai is soulless trying to look cool
Thank you video brilliant compliment
Dubai is known for its impressive and innovative architecture, with buildings such as the Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab standing as symbols of modern engineering and design. However, it seems that some lesser-known super-tall skyscrapers have been overlooked or forgotten by the public. This raises questions about the sustainability of such ambitious building projects and their long-term impact. The topic also highlights the importance of acknowledging and preserving architectural heritage, especially when it comes to landmarks that are representative of a city's identity and culture.
A lot of these projects are indeed just marketing gimmicks. A lot of them serve no purpose and it just gets people to talk about it. Just like the line. And when they cancel it they wipe it off the website and pretend it never happened because they’re too embarrassed to admit they overstepped and were too ambitious.
Wait and see)
Wow its a amazing video.I would like to see some of these projects completed as they look nice even though they're not very useful. They're being built for rich people to enjoy. I doubt many projects will reach completion as the world economy struggles.
“Before I bulid this mega project, I would like to sponsor Backblaze for making this project.”
This is really a masterpiece
Actually at site of Dubai Creek tower, thirty small towers of 20-35 stories have come up.
EMMAR Delivers.
It’s to be noted that during financial crisis of 2008-2009, almost 45 towers in business bay went on hold but by 2017, all completed and now business Bay Area is thriving district with top 3000 global companies making their Middle East headquarters.
Every decade since 1980, we have global financial crisis and Dubai has done excellent to maneuver its development.
2020 was bad but now in 2023, most projects are being completed. Unfortunately not all mega projects survive, but luckily hard work by everyone an amazing 2020 expo was launched in 2021/22 and it was grand success with over a billion dollars in investment opportunities
they are exciting
Where can i find the list of canceled projects and on hold one at 9:17.....@Top Luxury
You can see the source in the bottom left corner :)
I wonder if los Angeles will ever have another super tall skyscraper
I cry
That’s because Dubai is very dynamic and subject to change… thus plans will be changed easily… #Dubai ❤️

Such as the burj khalifa!
Shows burj al arab
😭😭(luv the vid btww)
Wow its very good I adore Dubai, I consider it the safest, cleanest most exciting place I've ever visited and I've been to most countries in the world! I was very disappointed when they cancelled Dubailand but they announce so many future projects [more than any other country I believe ] that I think they should be excused when they cancel some of them!
In my fictional world, all projects in this video already finished and successful
All cancelled and abandoned projects in Dubai already finished and successful in my fictional world
Honestly, with prices still going up, it's unlikely that a lot of these on-hold projects would push through. Only the rich can afford but for how long?
Habibi, come to Dubai 😍
can u cover statue of unity in your upcoming videos??
Another spectacular video 😊
It seems to me that Dubai Holding never ever finished a big project.
Another beautiful skyscraper by the name Burj Al Alam was cancelled 😐
This looks like a sort of curse since 2010 : whoever will try to beat the Burj Khalifa in height will inevitably suffer failure. And so it has been for 13 years. x)
How’s that one building in neighboring Saudi Arabia doing?
Imagine all the good they could do with all this money...
Like building a diverse ecoomy?
Abu Dhabi had the same project called LULU tower and it was cancelled too
Would like to see another boom time for Dubai. A few more Burj world records would be cool
How about a seawater desalination project that creates a river that creates a rainforest in the desert....cmon DuBoys....you can afford and execute that bia. I'd definitely visit that.
I would like to see some of these projects completed as they look nice even though they're not very useful. They're being built for rich people to enjoy. I doubt many projects will reach completion as the world economy struggles. It's difficult for me to imagine tourists coming to Dubai just to visit tall buildings, but I suppose wealthy people enjoy spending money on frivolous activities. It seems everything in Dubai is geared for the wealthy tourists. I won't be going there no matter how many super-tall buildings they have but I'll still enjoy seeing them on CZcams from the comfort of my home and be happy for those people who can experience them in person.
I live in Dubai
Have you seen the construction site of the Burj Jumeirah in person?
Even I do but I haven't heard anything of Burj Jumeirah, but it does seem like a Dubai thing to do.
@@MegaBuildsYT nah I haven't seen it
Hey how you doing?
@@KobrokoHere fine
I live in Dubai and Dubai Holdings, today, is stronger than ever. The Real Estate brand I work for, is 3rd largest in Dubai and 4th in GCC itself and we are recently started building of our own Tower 4 plots south of Burj Jumeirah's plot. The area, Sufouh district now is much better compared to what it was 3 or 4 years back.
Hostory has proven that it only takes few wins to be a winner, you don't have to get everything right but just one thing.
Planning is cheap. Ideas are free.

"more than any other country I believe". hyperbole.
So the front yard would be a giant model of this one guy’s fingerprint? Talk about megalomania. That alone would justify this thing’s karmic cancellation.
Isn't the entire problem the fact that there simply aren't enough multimillionaires and billionaires who want to move or own property in Dubai? No one else can afford to buy property there, or even afford just to travel there as a tourist. Add in the pandemic, China's long lockdown, Russia being at war and it's people (and money) not welcomed in most places, and you limit your pool of potential buyers and investors, let alone tourists. Then add in the Middle East's general attitudes towards women, dark skinned people, and gay people, and you cut your potential client list down further. Not to mention laws against alcohol, and that limits your tourism potential even more.
Tourism in dubia is much cheaper then other place. You also underestimate the amount of people who own land and apartments.
What if a earthquake happened and the bruj Jumeirah just split like a walnut
Everything is fun and games until some guy takes things seriously and looks at the foundation to copy the rulers fingerprint
Wow❤😊😅😮

Still not sure why anyone would go there.
This video is all about backblaze..
They don’t build it, the better the people that build it to better themselves

I would never in my life visit a country that if you smoke weed you're going to jail otherwise I'd be out there twice a year
Dubai is a place that literally makes no sense to me in the 21st century. It seems like its a hype train moving at warp speed that none one, especially the expats who live there as asking this simple question. "Why?". The Why I don't understand and honestly may not ever understand. Mostly because I am Canadian and hate the heat.
Why not be dependent on oil?
@@AL-lh2ht that makes sense. I mean the whole purpose of building mega city and relocating to it. Even that expats love to drink and UAE is a very strict Muslim country. I only wish I could see what this place will be 100 years from now. As its a great experiment right now.
Dubai real estate especially lux prices are through the roof past year. Lux and ultra lux up almost 50% thanks to influx of money from Russia and the super wealthy leaving London... Expect big projects to start again.

Very close! :D
I definitely need a faster phone now 😅
Truly second, both a curse and a blessing
Why make a video about a building that never was?
If you don't finish you mega projects and if you don't explain why just leave that place since there more aless there trying to scam or want to make people mad because they keep saying nothing about why they stopped it
The egos of these megalomaniac trillionaires is more staggering than any tower they come up with.
😂😂😂👍😉
Yes true
Seriously, a fingerprint to symbolise the power you hold over the city
man they are so evil not wanting to be dependent on oil. Fuck people who try to better their country.
@@samfitzz3 I guess it's better than a boot....
This is a masterpiece of a tower, But seems like more of a rich person's project rather then useful.
Duh
Big conglomerate office spaces are not a trend anymore, as companies tend to make most low rank employees work from home. Big commercial buildings are getting empty all over the world.

I'm a middle class American with a family. I'm awed by the marvel of construction, but I don't get excited about any of it. I won't ever be there to experience it. If they get projects done, cool. If not, I don't care. I'd like to see monumental projects in North America.
Так тато доказувати вам скотам кінець світу проти нас в інтернеті в любій країні світу і Європи і Америки і України і Східний фронт
nah it's all hype
Dubai is desert. And it will always be a desert. They build this expensive build make island for who? Nobody is going to there and live in a desert. They have strict laws... people wa t to go on vacations and have fun, they don't want to be locked for drinking or smoking weed
Dubai is so 2010s.....Saudi Arabia, Neom will be trending the 2030s......its all just trends.....
It just sounds like rich people throwing money away
Duh

is one of the many projects advertised, and you can buy a part of it simply in the supermarket (is true), but you must be stupid, because none of this project has been constructed... i.e. "the world", and others. So the question is: someone who already bought an apartment there...will they get the money back? In my opinion the answer is. NEVER
