- Hey y'all here is another video on the VTOL VR attack helicopter. Playing it reminded me of BF4s attack chopper (crazy fr). I know there's a lot of new Battlefield people here from the last video that went crazy. Hope you guys enjoy

the AGM-145s can comfortably hit stationary targets at 6.5+ miles, so you don't have to worry about boosting them within that range.

If you have AGM-27's on board i have found that those are really effective at hitting planes. Only thing is keeping the lock can be difficult.

What method are you using to record that from your VR? I've used nvidia exper. to record, and OBS. The game displays on my PC but is zoomed so I'm unable to see the whole display such as yours. Are you using the Steam VR window to record?
VTOL VR actually has a built in spectator cam that you can mess with. It's how I got all of the 3rd person shots. It also has a first person smooth look cam that follows your view but has a high FOV setting and smoothed head movement, which is why it looks so nice. Unfortunately most games don't have this because it kills performance.
I always use a games built in spectator cam if it has one, if not the next best thing is SteamVR's dual eye display.
Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner of SteamVR and toggle "Display VR View". Once that's open hit the 3 lines menu on the top left of the VR View and select "Both Eyes - Right Dominant" or left dominant if you want. It blends the 2 eyes together to give you the highest FOV possible without using a spectator cam. Hit fullscreen and then capture it with OBS or Shadowplay.
@Adelic I really appreciate the detailed response. I went ahead and did all that, which fixed the issue. Again, I appreciate it. A buddy and I will make a video soon. We ran into the same issue with the air-to-air missles not tracking very well. Keep putting together videos they are entertaining, and your commentary is hilarious.

You know, I was about to argue cause Alyx is so good, but I thought about it for a moment and you're right. This game has MP and has better replayability.
The new T-55 DLC is just so good too.

VTOLVR, is the reason they all love it.
And you´re right!
Yes, Alyx has mod-support.
But with Multiplayer and all the Gameplay-Mechanics and different Vehicles this offers it´s not even fair.
The AH-94 and T-55 have to be the best money i ever invested, i mean are there DLC´s with this high of a rating anywhere?
And don´t even get me startet on the Editor, you can add triggers for recorded Voicelines and Songs.. this thing is as simple as it is amazing.
One Person did this, and is still don´t believe that!

Yeah. The game is made by 1 guy. The game probably wouldn't be even close to releasing if he had to create AAA quality assets because it would take so much time. The cockpit looks decent though.
if they made AAA graphics you would still get 40 or 50 fps with an rtx 4090 due to the sheer size of the maps in the game

@@mlembrant Yeah I thought it looked bad at first too but everything else is very well made so you get immersed pretty easily and forget.
