  • This video is just a short overview of the instrument painel that comes with the base model Triumph Trident 660.
    I hope this can be of some help for those that have the bike, and can´t remember where a certain function is, or for those that just want to know a little more about this bike.
    Take care ;)

    Nice concise explanation of panel functions without any superfluous chatter. It showed exactly what I wanted to see.

    You are wrong in your description of Auto Indicator Cancellation. It is 8 Secs PLUS 65 yards (not Or). So if sat at lights and 8 secs elapses, it still waits a further distance related element before auto cancelling.

    Thanks, I'm just about to buy either a 2020 Duc Monster 659 or Trident 660. I'm happy how they both ride, but the dash on the Triumph is far better than the Duc so your video tips me over the edge and I'll order the T660. For a learner rider and the $$$ I want the best tech I can get.

    About the driver's name, I asked Triumph service about it, they replay that the Trident instrument does not support this feature, and the user manual is wrong..

    Thanks for the video - I found it on my search for the pictograms shown when there are mistakes as my Trident just shut down yesterday in a steep curve what really wasn't too nice. Too bad that the manual doesn't provide the necessary information... maybe anybody has a hint? I'll call my Triumph dealer and post it here if any interesting info comes back

      No. I Don't think much for the BT module to be honest.

    Anyone know the tire pressure for the trident 660? Manual says 34F 42R? Seems kinna high

    • @John_Neves
      @John_Neves  Před rokem +2

      I like to think that tyre pressure has a little individual preference in it.
      On most road bikes i like to run 36 on the front, and 38 on the rear. Seems to work well for my individual weight and comfort. 42 seems on the high end and maybe for a fully loaded bike 🤔
