I know it sucks to lose a GF but Souths were incredible this season and in the GF. In the end goal kicking was the difference on the scoreboard even after Penrith dominated possession like we did. I have some good mates who are Souths fans so sorry it had to be Souths who we beat but we were just so hungry to win it after missing out last year.

I know all the commentary was for souths and how great they are, even though they got thrashed by Penrith and Melbourne earlier in the season by 50 more points, no mention of that and no mention of Penrith's 4 in a row tough games and then winning the Grand Final and the fact that half the team were carrying serious injuries, now that is a true Champion side that well deserves the title. The lack of respect to the Panthers by media is because they are from Sydney's west, but this is what makes us so much more hungrier.
