“What better time to play defense than the the playoff?”… Does any of these so called professionals even watch games? Since trades Dallas has been elite defending non stop. Jesus it’s almost as if they don’t watch basketball and just listen to Shaq, chuck, Stephen A and all dem other clowns
@@jamesball8519@jamesball8519 So now, if someone is a Hall of Fame athlete, he is good at the media jobs. It takes far more than being an excellent athlete to be a great analyst, and everything connected to this, so your comment shows how you are dickriding someone for the name and not if they are doing well at their jobs rather than trying to be unbiased, where most of them fail big time. Most of these mainstream sports shows are just about the hot takes and unnecessary drama and almost nothing about real sports.
@@jamesball8519 Doesn't matter if they are hall of famers as players. As pundits with a lot of influence they are clowns who just don't watch games - and that's blatantly obvious by what they say.
Yes! TNT / ESPN and other outlets hardly bring it up and as a Mav fan it's so disrespectful. It's all been about the Clippers losing verses the Mavs winning.
Thank you for showing the Mavs some love. TNT / ESPN and other outlets have been all about the Clippers and not much praise for the Mavs. It's so disrespectful.
I realize that this is a different series if Kawhi is healthy, but why is the narrative always about how the Mavs' opponent dropped the ball instead of the Mavs being the better team?
That's how they were talked down about back in 2011. Took them taking down Miami to finally get some respect Guess this squad is just gonna have to go do the same thing
I noticed that too. Everyone always says it’s the other team wasn’t complete or somebody wasn’t on his game, but it’s never the Mavericks are a great team because they are coming together and the dynamic duo Kyrie and Luka when healthy are very hard to stop. They won this series with Luka limping around the whole series. I hope he gets into treatment and doesn’t stop until hours before the next series. Those two at full strength with their young guys and better defense can be unstoppable.
Because Mavs will always bee the underdog. It makes series wins that much sweeter though. If Mavs makimg a run for the title they taking down all the dogs
@@johnwild8217 I agree 100%. I remember the 2011 run and how sweet it was and it’s something I’ll never forget because I wanted Dirk to get what I thought he deserved because he was so loyal to the team and he played his heart out his entire career in Dallas.. My friends and I were just jumping around acting like fools when they won. It was such a happy moment. Dirk was just so fun to watch his entire career.
No matter how many shots Luka can make in a game does not matter that much. As long as he is on the court, he is a threat and attracts a lot of defense attention from the opponent, this will create a lot of open shots for his team mates. That's why Luka must be on court for the Maves no matter how effective he is on the offensive end.
oooh my! I could not imagine how good Udonis Haslim is....He is better than Steph A. sharing proper Insights in individual players. Unlike Stephen A . just like a Duck he can spit or he can blow his behind anywhere else without reviewing the situation....
Did anyone really think 💭 that the clippers even if kwahi had played were going to beat Luka/Kyrie/Maverick’s after knocking them out the playoffs the last 2 times they played against each other?. The clippers are still too weak in the low post Gafford/Lively/exposed them.
@@jasonstevens2679 well when you force the opposing stars to go 2-18 along with 2stls and 2 blocks you are recognized for your defense. Your “do better” comment shows you didn’t watch the game
@deshardmyles86 you totally missed my point. Do better meant as a defensive player would never congratulate himself on playing Defense he just does. Lively is a future Allstar. Only 20 years old. Great kid
Facts he’s going to be really good , just have to be more aggressive. He passes up shots when he has a mismatch
What I love the most about him is he continues to progress offensively and only gets better.
He’s lowkey underrated
He and gaff are key to okc matchup

James Harden, known as a dog? That made me chuckle.
When D Live did that James Brown split and bounced right back up bro!!! 😮😬

They really traded away their future and gave birth to the soon to be OKC dynasty
Good seeing Haslem on the team with Smitty
