For months, we’ve heard Western officials justify the slaughter of Palestinian civilians by saying Hamas uses “human shields.” But when Israeli forces strap a Palestinian on the hood of their vehicle, Western media fails to mention a literal human shield.

The attack came during a Jewish Holiday so the IDF probably was on a skeleton staff footing. That was soo foolish knowing the Arabs always attacked on Jewish Holidays.The IDF didn’t want to rush in because they were scared the hostages would be killed. Netanyahu will pay the price for this blunder. Israel probably had to check with Egypt and Jordan before acting so they wouldn’t be facing a three front conflict. The Middle East is complex and Hamas probably thought the arab countries would come to help them. Instead they stood by while Israel pounded them and destroyed 35% of Gaza.
It was known in advance! IDF and Netanyahu knew what was happening - just like he knew that 9 11 was going to happen.
