Finish product looks good. Glued up seems reveal your blade was a little dull though. Fix that, and it'll be flawless.

Am I mistaken... Not using the fence on the jointer means you aren't ensuring a square edge? Correct? It seems like it would be pretty easy to just barely tilt the wood if your hand holding it as you pass it on such a narrow edge
