The idea of a counter fighter has an incredible amount of depth as it's not about answering a strike but rather setting up a trap for the opponent to fall into, then bam! Train somewhere legit and then go to Thailand, like a place like Chang Mai. Get acclimated and then train with the locals in the middle of the afternoon heat. They will eventually show you the next dimension of Muay Thai.
Amazing dude, I am a bit jealous hehe!! I dream of fighting in Muay Thai. Both my arms are really messed up because they came out of socket earlier this year and they sometime will come out and most of the time my shoulders hurt and can easily come out on a normal day like if I don't put on my shirt carefully and move my arms certain ways. I am trying to get surgery soon, so I can hopefully be able to train in Muay Thai at a gym near me for a few months in Mississippi, then move to Thailand for a bit a get some real hardcore training. If I am able to make this happen, my life will feel almost complete at only 30 years old. Fighting in Muay Thai is the biggest dream and desire I have right now in life, please Lord let me accomplish this lol!!

Yes! This is why I watch Muay Thai most of the time and sometimes this. MMA is kind of boring because of the wrestling, I want to see some real fights. When I just got into Combat Sports, I started with UFC/MMA and I quickly gave that up only after a few fights once I discovered Muay Thai. This will offend a lot of people when I say this, but MMA is boring, it's why I only really watch Muay Thai these days and quickly gave up MMA after only watching a few fights

BKB is better for long term than boxing, kick boxing and MMA
The thing that is most dangerous in combat sports are head kicks.
Much more force generated than any punch, and the bone is thicker and harder.
Same goes for knees and elbows.
The only thing BKB is worse for is that hazard of breaking your hands too often, and ending your career that way.
NaCl Ωmega, very interesting you say that because while kicks indeed do generate way more force than any amount of punches ever will, boxing still reigns supreme as the sport with the most amount of CTE.
In theory what you say is right, but that’s just not the way it works due to frequency and varying styles of MMA. Not everyone will be utilising kick and if we assume what you said is right, kickboxing and Muay Thai would technically be more dangerous than MMA.
@@10sansari yes true, kicks/knees/elbows are used alot more in Muay Thai and kickboxing (elbows/knee's depending on rules with kickboxing)
And boxing probably has the most CTE damage due to the gloves (and lets not forget 12 rounds)
