Lady who spends her days helping kids gets a big surprise from a Secret Santa

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until Christmas, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
Jyl has been through a lot in her life but always has a smile on her face and makes those around her better.
She was in a car accident at age 19 that left her paralyzed from the waist down. She was told she would never walk again. After a long rehabilitation, she was determined to serve an LDS mission. She left for her mission in a wheelchair with the goal to walk again. When her mission was over, she walked off the plane with canes and has continued to use them to this day.
She studied special education in college and now works as a developmental disability aid. She is a complete joy to the children she works with and is a blessing to so many people.
Jyl and her husband volunteer so much in the community. She has loved directing and organizing the summer community theatre camp. Although she may have financial hardships, she is always the one giving. She loves to quilt and is always donating and giving custom quilts.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Jyl a visit and drop off an early Christmas gift. Check out the surprise in the video player above!

There is not a person fit better than Nate and the crew for these! I can just feel the honest care and excitement you hear from his voice and see in his eyes! She is just a sweetheart!

I was thinking about All the behind the scene stuff, & verifications of recipients that he & his whole team do, before knocking on any doors. Choosing a mix of just happy gifts to wonderful giving people who are silently struggling themselves, to the Many Life Changing,& Possibly Life Saving Gifts to the young, old,& in between. They All give 100% to this Christmas Mission, for The Very Generous Secret Santa,& though it’s Happiness & Joy involved in Every Single gift, it’s Got to take a toll emotionally as well, Because of their Precious & Loving Hearts. Secret Santa knew what he was doing when he picked Nate & his team to do this-as you said,”There’s not a person fit better than Nate & his crew for these!”!!!Merry Christmas to you all, from Virginia!!!

LOVE THIS ONE!! We need more Special Ed teachers, it isn't an easy specialty, as I'm a special needs parent and I know this to be true. There are so very many disabilities and each child is unique in the special needs, and it takes so much education and experience to be able to meet all those needs, it's just never ending education for the teachers. They are the special heroes amongst a group of heroes. WE LOVE OUR TEACHERS!!
It feels like the kind of people you would want to spend christmas with. Full of positivity and laughter.

I want to mentioned that a few times now someone has filmed glimpses of Jordan, thank you for that becuz he is rarely seen & does such a great job of videoing.
