*iMovie is simply the best tool for those using Macs because if you're using ANY apple device you can sync it with your Mac. It was my VERY FIRST Editing tool before i discovered Adobe*

I like that you explained what us beginners are seeing, unlike other videos that immediately start doing stuff without explaining. They seem to think we can see what they are doing with their mouse pointer.
This was a great starting video for beginners. I just recorded an old VHS tape on my computer from the 1980s and now I have to edit it. I'm sure there are a lot of trial and error steps to follow, but your video gave me the basics. I will watch your others, too. Thanks a lot for recording this.

I have never had to edit video in a serious way before. Mostly I played around with social media options within the platforms. It was fun for personal things but it takes me hours to learn this stuff. I just want to tell you that I appreciate how you teach this iMovie because I've been tasked to make one with work colleagues in a collage of video messages in 2 1/2 minutes. I'm excited to give it a try after watching your video. I'm right there with "py Chien" LOL. I have liked and subscribed
