Taking into context that this is in the wake of the very recent AT&T outage this points to a more probable hacking scenario in my opinion

@@yawningpheonix I'd say twice is a high probability on it's own. In the context that they both occurred in less than two weeks of one another is an extremely high probability for a cyber attack. Even more so to note that Meta's happened on Super Tuesday (which could be coincidental). Especially taking into account that both AT&T and Facebook have had three outages in the entire history of their companies. Not making any declarative statements, but taking all of this information into account I think hacking is highly probable.

@@yawningpheonix I think one needs to also take into consideration the context of both of these events occurring relative to one another; they both occurred within 12 days of one another, in a span of 20 - 30 years both companies have only had three outages each prior to this, and one (Meta) happened to occur on Super Tuesday. I asked Chat GPT to calculate the odds of this, and it gave a 924/1 odds. In other words, a less than 1% likelihood this was merely coincidence. I think the next occurrence will most likely be the last.

I mean, I would too if I thought I was hacked.
I was upset for a min bc I was chucked out of my account so quickly and so thoroughly and was unable to log back in, I thought my account had been deleted so I had a friend check that I was still there and not posting weird things, so I wasn't hacked. That's when I knew it was some kind of outage.
