Hi Josh! I can say for certainty that your audition of Jealous in front of Simon, was an unspoken explosion of emotions not just for him but all of us that watched you. You touched the deepest part of Simons heart. I’ve always wondered if you understood what was happening with him. The loss of his mother was very hard and your song took him right back to his love and missing of her. I lost my eldest son 8 years ago….Adam, he’s forever 39. And that song stirred and still stirs me to some of my deepest longing for him. It’s painful yet, it is the closest I ever get to "feeling" him again. The song takes me there. I have always wanted to thank you. I pray for you the very best in your life. Please, never lose your gentleness, humbleness and genuine compassion for music, touching others with it, and being true to yourself and to God. Again, thank you.🌺

Josh Daniel you really should watch your audition on X Factor, just for realising that Simon Cowell was so emotional that he couldn't speak. You have an amazing voice and from watching a this you come across as totally genuine and real and a lovely man. Don't let the industry change you (which I don't think it will as you seem really grounded). Well done and looking forward to hearing more from you. Also it would be good you talking about Mental Health, especially from a mans point of view as men need to know that its ok to talk about it without feeling ashamed of feeling that way.

One of my fears in dark water. And you that audition tape went straight to the heart and soul Josh. I am comforted in knowing energy is can neither created nor destroyed; it merely changes form Josh. I do not know what you believe in. But, first time I really actualized to presence of a power higher; was when I seen a thermography tracing of a human female's body with a 3 day old embryo presence. It was like seeing the universe explode, the light energy was so bright. Everyone in the room was shocked and speechless. She did not know she was pregnant. We are spirit energy having a human experience; we must shed this body in order to return to our origin. When I heard you sing it is was that energy you touched Josh. Continue to live in peace and purpose. Yah Bless
I understand exactly why you don't watch your video from the audition. Your audition video hit me so hard emotionally I got a headache from the crying and the emotions that it brought out of me. It was actually painful but beautiful at the same time. The pain was from me trying to suppress my feelings as I was processing the song as it marinated in my mind while watching the judges assess your performance. Beautiful because of how much of yourself you put into that song. And your pure raw emotions that everyone felt including the judges through the song that you sang for your friend Tommy. Simon most of all..... It took me a long while before I would watch your video again because when I did I still cried but not with the same intensity. But it makes me smile. If you think of it in terms that the world needed that performance as well as yourself. I don't think it will be so hard for you too revisit your audition video. The parts of your song that you may have cringed over was just your emotions coming through your voice which makes the video as emotionaly effective as it is. When I heard you sing other songs I said, This dude has a beautiful voice that touches people in the ❤️. Don't stop singing Josh.😎👍
I first heard you on X factor and I’m ashamed to say that Today was my first day checking out your other music. I’ve listened to your audition tape numerous times because it touches my heart every time. I can now say all of your music touches me. The ballads, the upbeat and the Christmas songs. I said all that to say thank you and keep making music because it is changing the world one song and one person at a time.

HI Josh. I just watched your first audition again, cried .. again. and then I decided to see what you are doing these days. Glad to see you happy even amidst this world pandemic ( I am South African and we might get another lockdown soon). You and your family stay safe while we look forward to Christmas, not a White Christmas though.
My son got as far as you on X factor in 2017 and yes the anxiety was very real for him too, however he didn’t give up and is now doing really well, keep going josh you are amazing

I always wonder if he realizes when he's singing how much it touched Simon since Simon was unable to speak, but he gave him that wink.
I personally have not viewed another audition quite like Josh's. He was absutely brilliant, making the song his own. It gave it such new meaning, and every single time I see it, it touches my soul in such a manner, and every time it brings tears to my eyes. It seems each viewing, it touches me in a different way as well, brings forth another meaning, or viewpoint.
All I know is he has got such a beautiful voice, such talent, and he remains so humble, so true to himself. That shows what a truly beautiful soul he is, and no doubt Tommy is so proud of him, looking on him with such adoration and love from Heaven.
I also love seeing his Mother's reaction and pride for him. Their bond is so special, one which is much like I have with my 4 sons.
I pray he continues to grow with his craft, continues to touch the hearts and souls of so many, continues to release more music, more singles, and albums, booking more concerts/shows. His voice is so extremely touching, so uplifting. He has a true storytelling voice where you hang on every word of the song. Just such a beautiful quality. Something the World truly needs.

It was accidental for me watching your first audition on X Factor. After it, I began liking you. A woman of 70, I'm not so fond anymore of watching entertainment on tv. I've identified myself introvert. I love watching religious lectures of scholars on social media. But after I've watched your first audition, I view it again and again until I became "Jealous " with your mother who can be with you always. It's obvious you are a loving son, and keep that up. Josh you have no idea how therapeutic your song was to me. I lost three friends including my best Friend between 7 and 10 years. I was confused and sad, you see prior to that only old people died. I really couldn't come to terms with their deaths, 40 years later your song help me to heal, thanks Josh. I also think you have a beautiful voice and you deep emotions touch me.

I couldn’t remember your name and I really really wanted to watch your audition video again. I had to watch like 15 videos before I could find you. I was so happy to listen again. I downloaded the video so I can find it again. I also found legends video of the same song( I had never heard it before.) it was lovely as well but yours had such a depth of emotion from you it really got me right in the heart( like Simon). My heart has been closed since 2019 and listening to your video has helped me to reopen my heart chakra. So THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! I love this song and looking forward to your other works. Josh - I just watched your audition again - and I cried again! I have a 37 year old son who is very smart and funny - but he is Bi-polar II. I so appreciate your talking about mental health. The more we normalize mental health as a HEALTH issue, the more likely it will that effective treatment can happen.

I was trying to find something to make me busy and divert my attention this time. And so, I am rewatching your videos. I am not a music lover but I listen sometimes. I rarely get interested in someone in this kind but I really like you. I have depression and anxiety and my treatment is still ongoing. Your singing helps me to calm and relax and I thank you for that.

By watching your video, it helps me alleviate my grief somehow but the pain still lives on up until today. Since you didn't watch your audition video, did you know the impact that you had on Simon since his mom had recently passed? I always wondered if you watched it back or if you knew. This song certainly hit much different after my Mom passed in 2016. I saw your video after she passed and I watched it many, many times. You touched many hearts with your sentiment. Blessings to you.

Josh, I feel that you should go back and watch your audition at least twice. The first time you will respond from your gut. The second time, try to see how your raw emotion comes through. I have enjoyed your music and your voice, but I feel that if you could convey more emotion in your more recent pieces, it would improve your performances. You laid it all out there on the floor in X-factor, and we felt your pain. I know as an introvert exposing yourself that way will be more than difficult, but I believe it will take your performances to another level. That being said, I will be buying "Mary did you know" as it is one of my favorite Christmas songs, and your tone is beautiful. Keep on pushing!
