@@stevesnyder1269 I currently use Courant Kalimba 11.8mm 24 strand, and it is wonderful. I've also used Teufulburger's Xstatic 11.7mm 32 strand, and Yale Cordage's Scandere 11.7mm 48 strand.
Good stuff. I like the scuba clips for the bridge tails. I tried using the lanyard manager clips but the bridge rope slides through those clips too easily.
Biggest complaint .cannot understand why all tree saddles dont come with bucket rated attachment points as options..for suspension..almost everyone uses a bucket or lift at some point .and those fall arest bucket harnesses suck .sure you can wear any 🧗♂️ saddle but to be safe and follow standards it should be optinal on every saddle
I believe that rear ring being green on that saddle makes it life safety rated. That’s how the Treemotion was then they stopped that on some of the later models and it was red. I think more saddles should have it rated as many climbers use the bucket too. Not to mention work out of the bucket and climb back in to finish the lower section of a tree.
@@toddbremer9131 ots not going to work for bucket truck fall arrest...the green ring is for chainsaws big ones..and for say being on a roof tied on ...and such..every saddle should hsve them.
Nice setup, Jacob! 👍
@@treehamel Thank you, Taylor, for the setup and tips videos!

Are you a veteran? Using terms like high and tight, I would think so. The harness is trick!
