NORMAL DISTRIBUTION / GAUSSIAN DISTRIBUTION/ STANDARD DISTRIBUTION: COMMUNITY MEDICINE TUTORIALS.

In this video I shall talk about normal distribution. And characteristics of normal distribution curve.Normal means most of the values in a data set are clustered around the mean and relatively fewer observations are deviated on extremes on either side.
*Features of normal distribution curve:
a. Bell shaped
b. Bilaterally symmetrical
c. Point of coincidence where mean = median=mode
d. In a normal distribution if mean is 0 then standard deviation is 1.
e. Area under the curve is 1 or 1000%.
f. Mean +- 1 SD covers 67% of values
g. Mean +- 2 SD covers 95% of values
h. Mean +- 3SD covers 99% values
