He said yes a couple had come across him as he was moving a body and described how he was hidden behind a bush but the guy was standing on the body. He said though that they had quickly left for some reason. It was Bundy and they were the couple.

He said he was fine, they went home, he went up and killed the custodian and set himself up for a prolonged sniper attack. He'd already killed his wife and his mother before he went there too. 1966 I think that was.

That’s where Gacy got the idea of removing the inside door handles.
Dahmer lived in the same apartment building as my friend. It was near a prominent college. Also, he invited us for dinner, thank goodness we had other plans.

One afternoon when all the kids were playing outside, all of a sudden all the parents were yelling out the windows for all kids to get in the house. There had been bolo reports that a madman who killed 8 nurses was on the loose in our neighborhood. It was Richard Speck. They caught him quickly and it was all over media. I was horrified yet fascinated. Fast forward to the 70s. There was a sketch of an illusive killer called the Zodiak killer. The sketch looked like my Dad so my friends and I spied on him. Turns out he's not. Then when Gacy hit the scene, he was in the Chicago suburbs as was I and most of the victims could easily be my peers and I worried terribly as they found body after body. So my BFF and I were drinking on a boat in the DesPlaines river and decided to dive for Gacy bodies. Then I discovered a true crime writer in the 90s named Anne Rule. She wrote about killers that weren't heard of. My 1st was Small Sacrifices, the Diane Downs story and I was hooked. She wrote in novel style like Truman Capote In Cold Blood or Norman Mailer's Executioner's Song, Gary Gilmore story. The 3 were great movies as well. I was never much of a horror movie fan when they started with the whole Prom Night, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm st craze but loved the original Frankenstein, Dracula and Wolfman but was not a fan of Twilight or The Tom Cruise vampire leStadte movie. I haven't done many podcast listening but am hooked on CZcams. I would highly recommend That Chapter with Irish Mike, Mr Ballen and Bailey Sarien if you're just getting into it again. Dark stories with some light hearted banter. Ive been into this for a long time but am just now able to watch the ones about children but they are hideous.
