Behind the Scenes: YouTube Spaces Women's Program

- To inspire female creators and catalyze even more female-driven content on the platform, CZcams has funded a global production program at CZcams Spaces designed to showcase the talents of female creators both in front of and behind the camera.
Cue the Women's Program: 51 channels from 6 cities around the world with a combined subscriber reach of over 43 million subscribers produced content as part of a special CZcams initiative to spotlight and empower female creators in 2016. Our goal is to support the creation of female-driven content and inspire women to make more videos for CZcams - ultimately, to help create a world where everyone’s voice can be heard.

This is great, but there is also a problem of ageism towards women which this project seems to be perpetuating. Nearly all of the women featured here are young. May I suggest that CZcams also make an effort to be more age inclusive as well as gender inclusive in their content? A society that ignores its older, more experienced and wiser voices is missing out.
Strangely enough, thiis something tha makes me proud of being human, goes without saying but this shouldn't ever have to been an issue. Congrats, because your gender had and sadly still have a bumpy road.
