JB platinum Vaccunm pump thrown in Trash. Don't make this mistake.

I found this vacuum pump in a dumpster of an Hvac company on a property i clean. I brought it back to the shop and plug it in. once I pull it it I knew the motor works so i need to dissemble it to figure out why the vacuum pump wasn't engaging.

Bought the same exact pump for dirt cheap on Ebay, was advertised "as parts/not working". Did a bit of research, replaced the coupler and she's been going strong for years now ;)

I still haven't replaced the coupler on this pump yet. One day I'll get around to it. Where did you put the coupler from.

Great catch on the repair - those are top notch pumps… Be sure to use actual vacuum pump oil - JB makes Black Gold vac pump oil but other brands work well too - change oil frequently per JB website.
