Vukovi - DEPARTURE/TAINTED (Bass cover/Addition)

Ever since I discovered Vukovi in 2017, they immediately became one of my favourite bands. As much as I love them, and the critics are starting to as well, the two-piece direction without a true bassist in the band has left me feeling like there's some sonic space to fill.
So I'm doing a little project, adding bass to all the songs on NULA; this video uses the vinyl recording, remastered by myself.
For this one, I'm combining the intro and second track. I really want to fill out the sonic space and compliment synths so I chose to play with some envelope filters, while also switching in a dirty tone (courtesy of Darkglass). There is a great bass foundation (or a guitar octaved down via a bass whammy like Hamish has been seen to do in songs like QUENCH) in TAINTED already, so basically looked for what rhythms or scales could be further fleshed out without detracting from the arrangement.
Unfortunately I filmed this on a new iPhone and the video/audio sync wasn't great...the remaining videos for the album will be fine.
