What they don't show here is the necessity to stabilize the footage both in-camera and post-production to prevent it from being shaky and jittery.
Additionally, the vertical module does not move up and down all the way uniformly with the same number of springs; thus, you can only move it either up or down based on the springs you've installed, preventing continuous looping. To switch from vertical to horizontal orientation, you must remove the vertical module to avoid the slider from dipping heavily at both ends, creating a 'rainbow effect.'
Moreover, this setup requires a $1200 Manfrotto tripod capable of supporting the entire load.
