The caverns were cool but you only need about half a day to take the tour.. But close by is the Guadalupe Mountains ! For hikers that is the perect time of year. we are NOT hikers but drove around that area. we stayed at a free campsite in that area that was very nice, dark skies at night and beautifull mountains during the day!
