Prime & Paint Walls & Ceiling | Dream Garage Ep-03

This is part 03 of my series Dream Garage, transforming a garage to a professional looking shop. This episode covers priming and painting the walls and ceiling for a perfect paint finish to give the garage that clean look. I had to use a specific solution in order to remove the stains on the drywall, otherwise the stains showed right through regular paint. Hi Jacob! How long did you wait before you used tape on freshly painted wall?

@@nehareddy1213 I waited a few days and still had some paint pull off with painters tape on the two walls I didn't use the Kilz primer on. I think it really depends on the quality primer and paint your using but if you want to be extra safe wait a week for it to cure.

The paint came off with the painters tape because you should wait at least 24 hrs between coats, then at least 3 days to fully cure before painters tape is applied.
