I remember it was 15th aug and I was getting ready to head school but then heavy rainfall took place roads got blocked and trees fell and my father forbid me from going to school that day, I was so frustrated as it was not the first time this happened and I asked my mother that why does it rain every year on 26 jan and 15 aug and her reply was" For our country to gain indipendence infinite people have gave their lives as well as many lived as if they were dead while some lived but in such worse conditions that many if put in the same situation would like to die rather than live.For the loss of our people and their struggles , balidan for our country the sky cries everytime remembering the struggels of these veers, we celebrate these days as the people who did so much for this country look from above as we ackwonledge their balidan and everytime we vow to keep this country safe which they fought so hard to protect. She said that their tears of hapinnes come down as barish when they look at a free India and hear as we take pledge to protect our homeland with our lives and the more hard it rains the more they are happy and proud " she told me that barish signifies their happiness as they look towards a free India where Indians are no slave they all have the same rights which are possesd by other country people and the more it rains the more it means that they know that people still remember them as well that this country still has many deshpremi who are ready to protect this country with their lives.She told me at last that the more it rains the more it means that people still are ready to do anything for this country but the less it rains it means that much less people are left who care about this country now.(Akash rota hai un veero ko yad kar jo So gai is dhara ko bacha kar aur n dekh pai kabhi azadi apni akho se)these were her last words.I was 1st grade then.
