7 acres for 37 horses? 😮I guess land in CA is too expensive. In one area of VA, you needed 10 acres for the first horse, one acre for each additional horse. I guess these horses spend most of their time in stalls
Yes. They should not have 37 horses on just 7 acres.
What? You have to have 3 acres in the state of Virginia according to google.
100% agree
24 acres for 6 horses is nice
Horses who don’t have access to pasture are like humans who don’t have access to sidewalks, roads, parks. Imagine spending your life either in your room or on a treadmill.
I'd be willing to pay pal you two hundred you just came from raleigh❤ While I do agree but at least she actually feeds them unlike most she seems to really care about them
I wish all horses had turned out to at least four hundred anchor pasture❤ thay would love that
Yes, Yes Yes!!!! Horses imprisoned for their own selfish reasons!!
@@Randomcrap-zx5ks tbh i think a lot of us are. i watched this when it came out awhile but paused mid way cause i got jealous of how many horses she had and then came back now bcus raleigh mentioned it lmfaoo
I'm jealous if I see a horse in real life 😭 and if someone is riding it I'm dead 💀
No pasture. No runs. But more than enough arena... Just because you can, doesn't mean you should and this is a perfect example.
Horses look depressed.
Where is turnout?!?
why dont they have any turn out? thats just sad
My math may be off but 37 horses on 7 acres… doesn’t that add up to like 765 square metres per horse? and that’s if it were a flat block of land.. 🫠 that’s down right illegal here in Australia
I rescued my unhandled neglected boy (underweight still feeding off his mum at 1 year, his mum was pregnant and skin and bones) from a woman who had 22 on five acres and kept popping babies to of 35year old mares in Sydney. all horses were poor, one pregnant mare had cancer and was 30, the 35 year old died and the baby not long after as she didn't have her mum. It's sad how much it happens.
You have a beautiful facility and horses but if I did some of the things you guys do I would be attacked, having 37 horses on 7 acres? We had around 30 on 300 acres and people were telling us it was too much horses. And ours had plenty of shelter and never ran out of grass.
And breeding at 3 is far too early, I am not against breeding on foal heat but I never breed before 4 at the earliest. And even then some people say that's too early.
Why do you not have any actual turnout. So many riding arenas and no pastures. Your horses need constant daily time in a large pasture.
we have a hot walker🤗 they all walk and get lunged also get worked daily!❤️
They still need pasture tho- they need free time
@@maiterae not the point , they need turnout and time to be actual horses
My guess is they have stallions, geldings and mares. They have to have different meadows to hold them all separately. So mares with mares and so forth. You’d need more land to provide for them to roam free in selected groups. They made there choice with the land and this is it. Where I hade my horses they hade different meadows. Also 1 extra for old horses. My Icelandic horse got to be 34 years old and she stood by the oldies. She passed away next to the barn in a meadow surrounded by her old friends. No medical issues just because of old age , no interference from a vet , no stress. Not all horses are so lucky.. I’m from The Netherlands and they way some of these horses are kept would not be allowed here. I bett it’s hot overhere ( due to the palmtrees) to have them inside in that weather would not be the thing to do here. Also some of the “ stables” look like big dog houses with a golf plated roof.. nope. That would be so hot in that weather and the fact that the wind goes threw it all is a good thing when it’s hot. But when it’s cold and windy can cause respiratory problems. Nevertheless the horses seem healthy and this is how they choose to keep them so yeah.. bett they know what they are doing since her mother is a world champion.
And seeing this girl’s enthusiasm she clearly cares a lot for her animals. I’m with you they need to be able to gallop freely and have horse playtime amongst each other but yeah it is what it is.
@@maiterae that's not the point. horses need turnout time and grazing time. putting them in a hot walker doesnt allow them to run around freely.
Why do you all think this place is so great tiny dirt enclosure no grass in sight stabled all the time .not good at all
No pasture? Unusual not having any at least it would be here in the Midwest. Love all the horses absolutely stunning!
Why would you breed at 3? genuine question because I have been told breeding before around 5 is unhealthy and dangerous. Also where do you send the horses for turn out? I know riding schools are busy and in the day between lessons you might stall, but what about the time where the horses get to have fun and play and graze? Its really important for them to be horses too, not just riding companions or work horses because they get tend to depressed when in stalls for long times.
Horses are about money and status for her
that was the most sibling conversation every at the start
Fun - thanks! Beautiful horses!
“4 stalls, 4 stalls plus one on the side… 9 simple math! If your watching this I’m just did that!” Was my fav part lol
HAHAHA i said “Austin if your watching this” LOL my brother Austin always teasing me about math 🤣🤣🤣
Girl, i know nothing is going to change your entitlement regarding horses BUT i wish you understood what you were actually doing!!
love love love i miss them all omg
great show of all your friends! :)
Beautiful horses this is so cool youre literally living the dream! i quit riding a year or so ago since the passing of one of my horses but im getting back into it im fortunate to have a life filled with horses too idek why i tried to opt out what was i thinking!!
I loved this video❤️❤️💗 Oakley is a cutie 😙😙
Thanks Whit🥰🫶🏼
love love love your vids. but i am concerned on why you bread oakley at 2-3 years old. i JUST rode my 4 yr old mare for the first time. and if we bread our horses, its usally because they are retired, hurt, cant be ridden anymore, if we wanted to use a mare just for breading, i would wait at least until their 6 years old. no hate, just kinda concerned.
Ok well it's her life and her choices and u can't change anything abt it.
@@khloe_Coleman why are you being offensive its a genuine concern for the animal not an attack on the people?
I don't think u understand. It's HER life SHE can do what SHE wants with HER horses
@@khloe_Coleman original commenter just concerned about the welfare of the animals, and for a fair reason. If that's making you uncomfortable and defensive then you need to rethink some things. And just because its her life doesn't mean her choices don't effect the lives of others. Learning is the only way to grow, and if she dosent want to learn then that's her choice, but one simply can't become better without learning and being educated.
@@Stargirl4lyfe didn't ask.
Love this new sub❤
Love this❤
Beautiful horses❤❤
love your horsessss, currently weve got 8 at the farm, its always a blast with themm
thank you Sarah!!!🥰 & oh my goodness!! how fun 🫶🏼 i love to hear it
Such good vibes! Lovely women and horses xx
Cool ranch beautiful horses .❤
Very nice! Thank you very much!!!
So they dont have turnout?
Beautiful horses, can you show us the paddocks where they get to be turned out? I can just imagine besides the stallions it would be such a brilliant herd.
They have 40 horses on 7 acres. They are likely turned out in arenas, not fields, or put on the hotwalker to get their daily exercise. There isn't enough room to have grass pastures. They're going to be more like small, dirt pens. You can see what they look like in the video. When you meet the Fjords, for example, they are turned out in a paddock together.
@@syzygyfarm poor horses ! It’s not a good horse life ! Didn’t she realize that ?
@@nicolecourt7829 It's actually pretty common in the southwestern states.
Southern California, and Arizona where I am, have open-air barns. Most horses at boarding facilities live in 12x24 pens that are partially covered.
There are many places around the world where horses don't have access to lush, green pasture. So long as their needs are met, they don't seem to mind.
My horses don't live in stalls like that, though. We've created a couple paddocks so they can be in a group, turned out 24/7. Even my stallion lives in a herd. Hay, water and shelter are freely available, and I'm working on improving our soil so we can try to grow a bit of grass.
However, we are in a drought and the Colorado River has been drying up. Water conservation is a concern, so we won't be irrigating the pastures and will likely have trouble growing much of anything outside of monsoon season.
@@syzygyfarm thank you so much for your explanations. Now i understand better. Here ( small country middleEuropa) we always have green grass and sometimes don’t realize it’s a gift! At TV we had recently a film that explained a lot about the situation of Colorado River .. so sad for farmers and the land in general. I wish you the best for this coming year for you and horses !🍀❤🐴
@@nicolecourt7829 Thank you so much! Best to you and yours, as well!
Does it take 1 whole year to muck out 37 stalls
this was so so so fun to watch, love your aesthetic!
Beautiful horses! I love the fjords they are so sweet and cuteee! This is the first video I watched on your channel I’m looking forward for lots of more videos!❤
Ladiessss, I don’t care how beautiful your hair looks and how much you trust your horse, ALWAYS wear a helmet. Save that gorgeous hair and preserve your beautiful brain by WEARING A HELMET.
Horses are prey animals. Even bomb proof horses can bolt and/or toss great riders. WEAR A HELMET. It’s worth the helmet hair. #prettygirlswearhelmets
And why isn't the mother wearing a helmet?
Hi mate I just found your channel I really love your video to just scribble to it so hi from Ireland
In Australia that entire farm would probably cost around 20-30 mil and I’m not lying-
I love watching your CZcams videos
Thanks, Dillon!
You’re welcome❤️
❤ wich a fun video
thank you Emma❤️❤️
Omg I love Andalusians❤ but I never find them in my lessons, so TYSM for showing all the Andalusian❤ btw Rockstar is gorgeous ❤
I’m so happy you started CZcams again! This was such a good CZcams video idea!❤❤❤
Thank you Olivia!! I appreciate you always🥰🥰🥰
how does it feel living my dreammmm
I have such a soft spot for the fjords. My adaptive riding lesson horse is a Fjord.
I just found your channel and you are literally living my dream life when I am an adult
I feel the exact same 😂❤

I love fjord horses, they are my favourite horse breed
Pregnant at three?! OMFG. A large, slow maturing breed, too.
7 acres and 37 horses is absolutely crazy its giving horse hoarding.
Girl this is horse hoarding to its max
Aww all the horses at your ranch or barn whatever you call it are so cute when I heard about a Arab I got super excited cause I have a white half quarter horse half arab
I also own an Azteca and they are awesome❤
Can u do a video on how tall they all are
Love Hans what a beauty. As are all your horses. Thank you for saying the breeds that go into an Azeteca
37 horses on 7 arces is insane. horses need pastures.
I love how you say that you made this vid to help us to know you horses but the second u say there names I forget them😂😊
Why did you breed a 3 year old horse?
Cracker Jack has the sweetest eye!!
Not trying to be rude but Hot Shot reminds me of a Barbie horse with those braids. Anyways you have beautiful horses and a beautiful ranch super lucky :))
I LOVE THIS!! i say it all the time 🤣🤣
I love meeting all your Horses!! Oakley is so cute, she is definitely my Favorite! She looks like my Mare, Cali! ❤❤
Hey Kylie!!❤️ Thank you, I bet your baby is a cutie 🥹
@@maiterae ♥️♥️
I wouldn't breed too young, but in the wild they get BRED young and BREED their whole life. They birth without people interference and do fine. If that's someone's choice to breed young then that's their business 🤷♀️.
my friend owns a team of fjords they arent ride able yet but they are so sweet like u can sit on them but thats it lol.
Molotov is stunning
your family’s ranch is beautiful! Loved seeing all ur horses !
Just curious What HMAs were Hell yeah and hail Mary rounded up from as I’m a huge wild mustang advocate and huge mustang lover
What is your ranch called?
Its so cool that your whole family owns horses!! I got my first mare in late October, she's a Tennessee Walking Horse. her color is dappled buckskin and she's 15.3 hh. love your videos btw!
Thanks Girl!❤️ so glad your here! Love your profile pic btw🤗🤗
@@maiterae thank you so so much!!!!!
I LOVEEEEE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH ❤❤❤❤❤
You're living my dream. We have 7 horses on our small farm (4 horses and 3 ponies)
I also have my own. He turns 4 in may but he's not ready to be ridden yet, so I mostly just do groundwork with him :)
This is the first video from your channel and so far you're really sympathetic! New sub ^-^
edit: Although I have to say, a 3 year old horse should not be pregnant in my opinion. The stalls also seem a bit small
Do the horses get turn out as well? Or only in the arena (Sorry for my bad english here, it's not my first language 😅)
I am also pretty worried about the three year old bro g pregnant no explanation given so I do t wanna assume just hope mare and foal will be ok !
Omg, I love your videos so much! I'm just concerned and worried about your horse you were breeding. That's horrible to do to a 1-2 year old horse.. Honestly. ( MY OPINION! )
Can you still ride Hans?
Only half way through vlog and I'm leaving not happy place at all from the equines point of view.
okk besides all that, ur brother is like- idekkkk just woahh
Hello! I would just like to say that i was scrolling through the comments and all i see is hate? Yes i must say there are no pastures or turnouts which isnt good for the horses health. Yes i think that horses need turnout time to be horses etc..But one thing that im going to say is that there is no need to hate in her video? The poor girl isnt going to do anything about it and also in california it is very hot so sometimes at my barn we let the horses stay in.If your genuinely concerned about the horses contact her parents or smt? Tbh i think the horses look happy.
Is this your barn
I gave a mustang! I did teens and oregon mustangs. Where is he from?
omg i have a cob piebald vivvy just under 14hh and i got her after i loaned my aunts pony his name is cash and he got sand colic :( Cash is the reason i wanted to get my own horse because before i got him i was riding once a week and i loved it! im soo happy i had the oppotunity to get vivvy and i love her so much and hopefully she can teach me just as much as the other horses has done.Hopefully one day i will end up with amazing stunning horses like you! My dream job is to be an Equestrian vet so i can help so many horses :)I want to be able to help deliver foals when there is a problem and help horses with colic and help with so many other problems,I have just subscribed to ur channel i love ur content after i only watched to vids !
Great collection! I have had horses for 50 years, also a Friesian and two Andalusians (PRE) and an Irish gypsy horse. In this video we saw more this girl than the horses, would be very nice to see more of the structure of these animals, as well. Who is cleaning the shit?
Omg hot shot looks like a mini version off my draft
I love fjords ❤
Ohh, i wanted to see hans very good, maybe another time. I love friesians. You have so much horses, but soooo much hay😂 one of the fjords has like an icelantic name, to dificult. Hot shot is s realy cute welsh. Nice to find your channel.👍🎄🧑🎄
i have an aztecs he is the cutest
love your video! wish i had that property and horses lol. Though, three sounds really young for a horse to be pregnant
Y'all have beautiful eyes
Your home is a dream❤😮
Not for the horses.
Beat me too it 🙁@@user-ub4yd3ec3b
How much money does there food and them and there tack cost
7 acres for 37 horses?! We’re planning on have 14 acres for 2 and possibly 4😭
I have like 200 acres or something and 12 horses
Look I’m sure you love your horses with your whole heart BUT. No turn out and No pastures are just plain cruel. That doesn’t mean you guys don’t take care of your horses. It’s also a lot to have and it’s clearly a business.. and unless u have a whole team there is no way every horse gets the attention they need and deserve. Breeding with a cross breed is not the most responsible thing to do. Just bc you have the money to have horses doesn’t mean you have the space. If u personally have five horses I’m concerned ab how you have the proper time for them. U seem sweet and young, u have been raised in this world and u trust your family but that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing. No hate wish your family the best and hope u guys think ab what is best for the horses and not the ppl
There are lessons so there are lesson horses
@@laci-ri4ii 37 horses in total that’s would have to be a big school. It’s mostly that they don’t have any turn out
Rockstar is one of my dream horses!! Absolutely the cutest 💗
And can i just say your property is so gorgeous!! I can't wait to have something like that in a few years.
Madi!!! your so sweet🥰 Thank you girl, wishing you all the best to come 🫶🏼
O-M-G Its My DREAM to have a Friesian Like they are the prettiest thing and AHGAHAGSDHHJF
Never heard of them being called a running thoroughbred .. normally call them appendix bred.. shows we all call them different things in different areas 😊
I was thinking the exact same thing but didn’t know if I’d offend but yes, does go to show they are called different things in other areas and that is one gorgeous horse could you imagine the speed on a full gallaop ? FUN !!!
what do you do to be able to keep 37 horses (no hate just curious)
