It's impressive to see someone keep up with Robin, a great comedian, and I think he would have been a pretty good Shakespearean actor (The Fisher King was as close as I think he went?). A comic who will never get the recognition he deserves, except from other comedians.

You're absolutely right! He graduated from Julliard as a classically trained actor -- one of Houseman's best students.

First time I’ve ever heard “tragically hip” not used as a noun and referring to the iconic band! Brilliant bit of improv here. RW was truly remarkable, and Cavett was the most talented and wittiest late night host ever.

You were both very skilled, in improvised forms didst thou act quite fulfilled. In second to none bore ye nigh but the best of the show, ever onward with laughter and jest starkly contrast lest Three Mile Island soon have thee both killed.

I miss Robin Williams who reminded me of the great Jonathan Winters, who I learned Robin Williams felt a strong kinship to him and was on the Johnny Carson Show with J. Winters. They were fabulous together and naturally had a part in "Mork and Mindy" as Mork's son. They were terrific together. Always loved them together.

Alot of people just presume robin killed himself due to depression but he was diagnosed with lewy body dementia before he killed himself and having worked in care homes and seen what happens as it progresses id do exactly the same as he did.

Dick Cavett is a thinker, intelligent and witty. Williams always came across as a lot of nonsense to me, his attention span was extremely short.

In order for Robin Williams to be able to improvise Shakespeare, he needs to be well versed in Shakespeare.
