Never before have I seen a band knowing so little about them (2 songs), have I come away so converted, enthralled and stunned by a band. That was IDLES at Glastonbury 22. I am so glad I saw them. I am 48, made me feel 18. They are sooo good.
Ha. I had the same thing. Never heard of them until they played at Truck Festival in 2019 and the noise they were making just smacked me across the face and dragged me by my collar toward the stage. Incredible band. Oh and I’m 41 😄
The best british band around at the moment. The performance was full of energy & power. They are criminally underated. The billing that they were below St Vincent and Foals was a joke. Hopefully back headlining the Pyramid next time 🤞

Viagra Boys are well worth checking out. Brilliant live and the lead singer seems like a genuine throwback to the punk era with his not giving a shit attitude. 'Aint Nice' and 'Sports' are a great place to start.
