In this sketchbook tour, artist Margriet Aasman explains how she uses words and phrases to keep her motivated to draw regularly.
"The word doesn't have to relate to the drawing," says Margriet. "It can be anything that comes to mind. It’s fun figuring out where to place it and see how it relates to or contrasts with your portrait. When you look back at your drawing, the word or phrase may help you remember where you were and how you felt during the process. And it can help motivate you to keep drawing!"
