I just finished my first square and will continue doing heart shaped granny squares while following your tutorial. I want to make enough squares (probably like 50-100 over the year) to make a blanket out of it.
My current square turned out to be about 20x20cm, I used fluffy yarn (the one you use for stuffed animals) and a 8mm hook if anyone wants to do a blanket as well out of these super cute and easy granny squares

this tutorial IS the most helpful one for heart granny square I’ve seen so far!!! Kudos to you! I got it from the first attempt! After other tutorials my heart looked kinda crooked, but this one turned out just right!! I’m just gonna decrease the hook size for the next time to get a more “synched” look of my heart

You show how and you are slow for many which is needed as well as you put the pattern on tet on screen so people can read it and i pause and follow because i have learned to be faster and just fast forward to see the text once i watched it and did it twice with you. Love this! For the last row I start with a chain of 3 instead of 2 and then DC as usual in the next stitch and not in the same. In the end I slip stitch in my chain 3. This way it gives me 15 dc on every side instead of 16 dc on one side and 15 on the rest 🥰
