McGrath is not awesome. He speaks with conviction, in the manner of a public schoolmaster, but there is no substance to his speech. He argues against a straw man of atheism, insisting that it is belief, a world view, a claim that there is no god. These days everyone acknowledges that atheism is a lack of belief in any gods. As a learned man he must be aware of this and this I see hi. As being disingenuous. He also has really bad reasons for believing in Christianity- “it makes sense”. Excuse me? Has he ever read the entire Bible, not just the bits about “love love love”?

Faith and Science: Two sides of the same prism. They allow us to understand and believe what we are looking at. Metaphorically and physically.
