I know content creation for TWW3 has been difficult but this is good! You should continue and make more. Also the video was entertaining and informative.
My personal favorite tactic is to go up to a Warboss and tell him "Oi, I heard Dat git over in Brettonia said hey was da biggest baddest. We know you iz da biggest and baddest." And then watch the horse fondlers and green skins tear each other apart.
The Greenskin End Game Crisis is definitively something.
The empire is one of my favorite factions if only because they can do EVERYTHING; and it’s so fun to be able to pivot to a new army build once a new threat starts to grow. I know these videos are meant to discuss a generalized idea of how to beat these factions, but since so many people complain about how hard the empire campaign is, this also helps break the mindset that empire is weak.
Watching those halbs eat that charge from those trolls hurt me in my soul.
As a long time dwarf player, my best advice (on the campaign map) is to wipe them out early. Greenskins generally have weak early game armies and relatively bad garrisons filled with gobos and other low leadership units, so press your advantage and rush against their major settlements (then the AI will send you goblin spams instead of orcs and trolls)
With no wazarg artillery nor nasty skulkers to worry about early game, bunching up on a hill or chokepoint isn’t a bad idea (assuming your units have high MD and or shields), utilise heroes and or other anti infantry units to hold down the green tide while your missiles clean them up, watch Legend of total war if you need any guidance…….
AOE spells and runes are obviously amazing but make sure to target their best units (usually black orcs), you don’t want to waste them on random gobos even if they’re armour piercing, let your long ranged missiles and high melee defence infantry to grind down those lightly armoured units. On that note, guns are amazing on shredding armoured orc units, lords and all monsters early game, while arrows are more like budget guns to just take care of the gobos. And just like WW1, artillery is god and will kill anything on the ground
All of this might sound super generic and boring, but if you want to avoid fighting against stacks of black orcs, rogue idols and doom divers, rushing down the green tide is really your best bet. Aim to wipe out their armies and recruiting spots, and don’t ever let those factions grow too strong. Smash open a cold one and wipe a few grudges off the book while your at it
Remember, hold the line, and kill urks!
All you need is some good armour piercing missile infantry and artillery. Both to deal with large amounts of infantry and large individual units.
So for example for the empire grab some Hellstorm rocket batteries for the infantry and hellblaster volley guns for giant spiders and giants
Another example For chaos dwarfs use some variant of the dreadquake mortars for infantry and blunderbusses or Fireglaives for monsters and lords.
Focus fire first on heavy infantry such as black orcs before they reach your line and start chopping their way through. When it comes to crowd control.

This is good timing for me. I am playing a Ku'Gath campaign and about to have to start taking care of Grimgor. After I finish with Cathy or beat them enough to get peace.

Ive been playing an Oxyotl campaign, and the biggest issue I've had is been dealing with Orks. Azhag and Grimgor both put out really strong stacks within 2 turns of beating the last ones: triple Araknaroks, double artillery, plenty of Boar Boys, usually some trolls, and then 3 Black Orks with a handful of Big Uns too. Against an entire stack of Skink Javs.
I win, of course, but it is gnarly to deal with those stacks.

Finally, now I can play easiest dawi campaign with this new found tactical knowledge

One thing to mention with the Underway stance - basically in regards to any faction that uses them, is that the stance is still very vulnerable to any Heroes that can use the Block Movement action, for what good is a teleport-like stance that can only move them a very small amount and can't even cross a wall?
