This was probably 1 of the coolest things Gene ever did in his life. A KISS BANGER done with a fan. Made that kids life 🤘
That face Gene made when the kid started the riff was priceless.

He was in complete awe of how effortless it was for the kid as if to say to himself "this isn't going to suck"
I think he was thrown by the key choice

he's like "oh shit, he could actually do it"
I have a a whole new respect for Gene Simmons. This is very cool stuff he's doing with fans. Rock on Gene!

Yes Gene does treat kids & inspiring musicians with much respect, I’m a big fan of Gene just not when he turns on his arrogant button. I seen KISS in 1996 in Hamilton,Ontario,
Canada at Copps Coleseium with all 4 original members & it was simply amazing it’s still the best rock n roll show I’ve ever been to & the LOUDEST!!! But the opening band was,”Glueleg” which kinda took me back but they rocked & did what they could. & I’ve seen a lot of great Rock N Roll Shows. The 2nd best rock show I’ve ever been to was at the same venue but with Ozzy,Danzig & Sepultura. Ozzy was Ozzy & on the big screen they had these funny skits & this was around the same year 1996/97 so Alanis Morrisette was still Big & Ozzy had this funny video of one of her video’s in the car but Ozzy was in the back seat of the car lol
Kid that doesn't look the type, just kills it. I'm so happy for him. I think this is my favourite video ever.
He did really well, and threw his own solo into it instead of a carbon copy of Ace's licks!

@@GARY84ROCKS Not without Ace's makeup, his songs, his solo's his choreography that Fake Ace copies, the KISS logo he created, Paul's makeup that Ace created, etc. etc. And no, they were playing hotel convention centers and the band was in financial turmoil until the KISS reunion with Ace and Peter.

How EFFIN cool was that?!?! The complete fantasy for any kid that was ever a KISS fan. The Kid rocked it good too! Damn, this is a total "feel good" video, LOL. My day went from crap to good in just under 6 minutes.
Gene is one of the best Rock Legends to his fans . For those have came across Gene he is just a great guy !
I must say , Gene is great to his younger fans. His whole band are great role models. They've shown that it takes HARD WORK and PERSEVERANCE to obtain your dreams. They also are not afraid to give fans a little push into the spotlight, literally. I'm not the biggest Gene fan, but this definitely raises his rank in my book.
Gene haters can say anything but this guy is actually generous and give more than any Rock legend could give to a young generation who needs it.

Here I am in 2020 watching a kid tear it up on stage with Gene Simmons. That kid was fantastic and made me forget about this shitty year for a few minutes.
He made a solid song choice, too. One of the highlights of the night when he got done and the whole crowd started chanting his name.
Fantastic Andy! Never judge a book by its cover, our geek kids can surprise you! Thanks Gene for being so nice to him.

I love how the guitar player in Gene's band literally pushed the kid up to center stage at 1:15. Class. Someone like Paul would have pushed him off of the stage - God forbid someone take the spotlight. the difference between Gene and his attitude and Paul and his....the song just ended and I actually smiled and applauded that kid. Well done and loved that he played the solo to match his personality.It actually worked.
Not true. Both Paul and Gene are drawn to the fans. Paul has shown a willingness to take question after question from fans on the cruises and at the conventions when he headlines. This was just Gene doing what he's preached for 50 years - fans are the boss, he obeys.

Id say paul is less talkative unless you actually piss him off. Every video ive seen of someone meeting paul he makes so little conversation. If someone says how are you paul he just say “good” not even a im fine and you?
