I am playing on XBSX, and not a single load screen, let that be known too. I flew from Vancouver to PG and it took a couple hours and zero load screen. Today I flew full Storm Weather from Victoria to Vancouver and in this heavy demand Weather rain lightnings thunders galore ⛈🌩⚡⛈ and zero loadscreens zero studder zero issues... just flat out drama.. yes DRAMA man the thunder banging the bolts and sheets of lighting the zero visibility 93% of the flight. I decided to go above the storm clouds for a peek at the calm stary heavens above, the milky way always looks amazing.. well done Microsoft. Then I dipped back down below into the heavy stormy Weather to land in Vancouver and thankfully I did land on second attempt. I never crashed, I just needed to abort first attempt because of strong heavy pushing cross winds. The real second attempt I made it, I landed. Maybe it was the 3rd attempt, because I think the very first was just a fly by I did, so I guess that could be counted 🌖as an attempt 🛩 too 😐😑😐

Prince George BC (n Central BC).
I chose not to follow the flight plan that the game / copilot would switch to in a heart beat if I click the left thumb stick for a menu, that gives controls to the copilot. Anyway from Vancouver Airport (YVR) I chose to fly over Hwy #1 known as Trans Canada Hwy from Van to Hope BC (Hope bc is where the first Rambo movie was filmed). Then I followed the Fraser River that links many towns and goes right through the Cariboo district including PG.
Ps, that Fraser River is pretty awesome, and it is 1,375 kilometers long, starts in the Canadian Rockies and flows through Central bc's towns and the exciting Fraser Canyon and has a part known as Hells Gate then exiting into the Pacific Ocean at the Straight of Georgia... in Vancouver BC.

I flew to the island that I grew up, in Philippines. It was a moment of wow for me that you're able to see everything in the world literally.

Simply the most impressive game I've played to date. Most new to viewing these console reviews think it's an easy mindless fly around game . In reality, you can plan and set up flights as hardcore as the come. It truly is beyond anything out there.

I was blown away by the Scottish highlands was sunrise and looked spectacular, being able to go literally anywhere in the world is a marvel. Clearly the tech on how they construct the ground is very impressive. The live weather is also very impressive.

The fact that Asobo was able to pull it off getting flight sim to run on consoles is utterly impressive. I run it on my PC but hey it looks great on both those consoles too. Great alternative for those who don't have a powerful PC and want to experience one of the best and most innovated sims ever created. Nothing like hopping in a seaplane and taking a flight to Antigua at sunset and seeing the breathtaking visuals.

Got this on my Series S, and it works pretty well. The only annoying thing about it is the fact I can't find a Series X to buy!

@@PunkRockLifer got the series x for half the price almost a year ago by trading in my one x, i share gamepass accounts with a friend and ive already played like 30 games off the service since then. So yeah pretty much feels like im starting to get all these games for free after playing so many and not having to pay full price for any of them. And the next 6-9 months gets even better with The ascent and flight sim starts us off then we got Psychonaughts 2, aragami 2, scorn, redfall, crossfire x, forza horizon 5, back 4 blood, stalker 2 and halo infinite all releasing on gamepass.
Hvae to admit, I'm considering getting a series S for the day 1 releases on gamepass as a secondary gaming system with my PC. I'm pretty impressed with how this console performs for the price tag.
I just did that, got a PS5 as a main console and the Series S as a secondary Game Pass machine, it’s a beautiful piece of equipment.
Having the whole earth to choose from for destinations I find myself flying to Extreme Rescue episode locations some pretty amazing spots highly recommend New Zealand

Incredible that this is running at such a high level on a console. Also incredible that the HOTAS support - which they spent months promoting - is broken on release, to the point where it seems completely untested.

My HOTAS (Hands On Throttle And Stick) from thrustmaster works like a charm, aside a really clunky keybinding experience. You just need to make sure that the Hotas you are using is compatible with Xbox.

I have had a few hard crashes on the Series X and a couple of other bugs which are more to do with the game itself than the system. But nothing has taken away how much I’m enjoying this. It looks amazing and it’s so satisfying to even fly to places based off of places you know.

At 30fps on series S is there any benefit buying a 4k tv over my current 1080p. Mostly happy on 1080p, just notice runways and some building textures not very defined.

People don't even realize that a flight sim not even approaching the quality of the S would have been tens of thousands of dollars, not even 10 years ago. It's baffling how a console you can buy for $249 as an open box does this. Just stunning! To get a PC that approaches the S, you're easily passing $1500.

I can only play when not connected to the internet, the moment I connect the game keeps pausing and unpausing, it does this in the menu and game play if I get there. Does anyone know if this could be because I don’t have a membership such as game pass or gold live ? I would pay for a membership if the game would work, but I believe it won’t.

The X is near ultra settings in everything except lod distance, and texture quality. Plus it uses reconstruction instead of native 4k image like pc highest end. Other than that its very close and very impressive for a console. Watch some pc vs xsx comparisons on this game and see for yourself.
The X is Medium settings and the S is low settings. Don’t pay attention to that moron who said the X is near ultra settings. Not even close
problem on console if anisotropic filter, far lower quality than pc version. it mean a lack of sharpness on the textures, even in high resolution. digital foundry compared it, 1080p pc version look sharper than 4k console, just because of the anisotropic filtering

So it's not the best version of course but I won't regret buying it on Xbox One S right ? I was still playing FSX a year ago so surely I can't be disappointed ? I mostly play from cockpit also, dunno if it makes a difference, thank you all
SeriesS, not OneS, mind you. I think it come down to whether you prioritize performance or resolution. For performance SeriesS seems to be a better choice (a little bit better). For resolution SeriesX is better.

I've downloaded this game/sim on series x today but the graphics are terrible in big city locations.. what download speed is ideal for this to run as it should ? Or dose it need faster upload speed ?? I've only got my phone for Internet connection ATM, hotsop it's works perfectly fine with any other game online but I'm having trouble with this flight simulator ...

I've decided to prolong the life of my gpu so I set it to target 30fps and medium graphics. Amazingly, now gpu works at 70-80 % and the temperatures are very acceptable
if im buying an xbox just for this game, should I get the S? Because right now the cheapest X i can find is $1,100
I’d buy the s now and then get the x later…you may end up being satisfied with the s and feel no need to upgrade . If you’re coming from a Xbox one or ps4 you’re going to still be very impressed.
There are some complaints that S has a bad draw distance. However, I sees a lot of Flight Sim vs Real Life videos. Real Lift sometimes actually has a lower draw distance then the FS under Ultra setting. So Series S is actually more "realistic" on this 😅😅😅

The gameplay is fantastic. Not even any type of learning curve. Just take off and fly!!!
@@ronaiello3083 It was different for me. A bit of a learning curve as I was figuring out what the rudders do, what the dials mean, how to land, etc. Once I got the hand of things, the game is fun to just pick places in the world and fly around.
It is free on Game Pass. No need to buy the base game.
It feels like they crippled the PC performance till it launched on Xbox. All of a sudden ultra settings I am getting 94 plus fps. An prior I was getting 34 fps in some places. The game was basically broken on PC prior to the latest patch not utilizing the PC at all.
Congrats to them getting it on consoles. As someone that has played for well over q decade though. The experience doesn't match up to play on my PC but if you just wanna play they've done a great job bringing it to a bunch of new people.
I get 121fps in 4K on ultra with a 3090. So….

I want a 1080p performance mode on Series X. I hate when games only give me 4K 30FPS. I'd rather 1080p, or maybe even 1440p, if possible at 60FPS.
The game only targets 30 and i think you can swap resolutions in the Xbox settings its self but there's no point in downgrading the res when it's only 30fps all around . Hopefully they update the game to have a trade off of 1080 60fps tho
You can get 60fps on the Series X. You must have a display that has 120hz to enable VRR. With this, you can hit above 60fps.

10 years ago we had 4K capable consoles, 5 years ago we had the "first native 4K capable gaming" console. And now we have 1440 and 1080p capable consoles.
well it was 4k 30fps. fps > resolution. a bunch of people would gladly take 1440p/1080p for a 60fps experience

In a lot of ways this reminds me of PlayStations Gran Turismo just a graphical showcase of the systems strength this is no different? To me Xbox has a powerful exclusive they can show off the power of these systems!

Exactly. People fail to realize that 4K doesn’t mean much when the image blurs due to the low frame rate when the camera moves.

To get the best out of it and fps, you should test it on a monitor that has VRR, I have XSS and it looks pretty good
They won’t. Also 4K and 8k tv’s do have VRR with 120hz, not just monitors.

@@Christiano97150 put us in the case that a tv with 4k and vrr is more expensive than a 4k monitor with vrr. Obviously depending on the inches it will also be the highest value, also if u have XBSS so u want something as expensive as a tv....
@@lennyqualityg1456 I mean that’s what I use for my Xbox lol. 8k tv with 120hz, freesync2 premium and 1ms. And for my pc I have a omen x27 which is a 1440p 240hz 1ms monitor

IGN u gave MSFS a perfect score on PC, have u seen the mess on Xbox. From crashes to lags to no online Live Player MP mode since last Sunday, and suddenly one cannot access the free Hospital Plane as well now. Please review the game again for XB, it cannot be a perfect score on the console currently, impossible wow?????
