Tour this Arch-Filled Modern Farmhouse Style HDB in Tampines

We paid a visit this week to Zee’s home, a 24-year-old resale flat in Tampines which she shares with her husband and her two children. In a bid to get rid of the dark and dingy vibe of the original space, the home was done up in a modern farmhouse style and adopted light and airy palette with a pop of muted florals using wallpaper. Some of the doors were also replaced with ones that feature arched glass panels, enabling some light to filter into the rooms. Each space is meticulously thought through, fitting in with their lifestyle and habits and allowing each occupant to have their own place within. As with modern farmhouse styled spaces, the kitchen is always the heart of the home and Zee’s is no different. Her kitchen, a true epitome of the style, is lined with shaker style cabinets, open shelves, and a stunning apron-front sink.
