I love all the JPG that I’ve tried but honestly, I love the OG the most.
And have had CRAZY compliments with it, even though the others are more “complex” or not as dated

its over hyped sadly....one of the worst flankers, very disappointing, its too sweet, it literally gave me a headache.

I smelt this last week when it first arrived in South Africa - broke the bank, just had to purchase it (today). Less eating next month I guess...
Gaultier perfumes that l received the most compliments!!! Thank you for Elixir, surely for the beginning of autumn. For now l prefer JPG's Scandal.......wonderful!

My favourite fragrance in the Le Male line by Jean Paul Gaultier is Le Beau/Le Beau Le Parfum. I will definitely be getting this brand new one for sure!
To me it smells like Le Parfum and Ultramale mixed with a hint of tobacco. Ultimately it's just not for me, I find Le Parfum much better, I don't like Ultramale style fragrances and this pushes a little too far that way for me. That's not to say it's bad, and it's better than the other Elixirs I've smelled aside from Sauvage Elixir, but it's just not my style.
i never bought a jpg should i consider buying elixir ?

Thanks for the review but I have to say, I think I'm cashing out on the JPG Le Male flanker parade. Yes there are slight variances in each but ultimately in the end, were left with a similar version of something we've had many times over. So far the only real flankers I've been impressed with are Armani Code Parfum and Dior Suavage Elixr.
So you said the fragrance is very linear and won't change but at 8:45 you said that it changes???😁😭😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏 Soooo. How to trust this reviewers???

I smelled this in the store today and I don’t feel convinced by it. It’s not bad but I’m not sure if it’s something I would wear on a regular basis. Going to get a tester to see if my opinion changes. Really good review btw

I'm always kind of surprised about the love Ultra Male seems to get. It's so sickly sweet I just can't wear it. Far too cloying. I wish I got the pear in the opening, but I don't. Just a bubble gum sickly sweetness is all I can detect. All the Le Male's are currently looking up at Le Parfum in my opinion.
It reminds me of a carnival lol, its unique but hard to wear
Hi, so with fashion as this seems like designer house, they release according to the clothing fashion line --right now designer houses are "fall winter" presentations ....etc. they do this with the freshies as well in winter..,..release in december when its arctic weather etc etc...

I don't get tobacco in The One at all.
In my opinion it smells VERY similar to Halloween Man X. It smells closer to Halloween Man X than a lot of other clones smell to the original fragrances they're supposedly cloning. Subtle nuiances that keep them from being carbon copies but in the air its never difficult to tell them apart. I was very disappointed.

To make sure I'm not missing something, I just did a side-by-side comparison - and that is definitely not the case. Elixir is much darker in the drydown - with respect to your experience.

Great review Tommy, dont own, nor have tried le male.. I’ve been hunting the vintages I wore in the eighties early nineties.. I do have a couple of 1 millions that I rather love, absolutely gold and prive
atm Ultra Male is my favorite, Now im thinking whether i should get jpg elixir or bad boy extreme. tested spicebomb infrared EDP recently i'ts really awesoome too.
I love Ultra Male. I recommend Le Male Le Parfum. That is a great fragrance. I have both.
