Have you noticed a change in later john lennons voice compared to the early beatles john lennon, did he perhaps change his technique or was it other factors for example age or drug use that contributed
Yes, I noticed some change and that is to be expected IMHO because they toured extensively and that amount of touring can certainly take its toll on the voice - along with age (I've noticed as I grow older, I have to try harder to get the same sounds I used to easier... but I do my best to stay healthy and fit to keep singing as long as possible) Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
His voice grew so much more beautiful by the time he did Across the Universe. He could not have sung it so beautifully 7 years earlier.

I totally agree with you on John and Paul. They use their vocal instrument differently. I've always found John more nasal. Is it because of the type of nose he has? It's pretty long.
In my opinion a singer’s physical characteristics can have an effect on their voice, but it’s not necessarily a determining factor if you know what I mean…just my opinion based on my own experience. In other words, no oft needs to agree or disagree… sets us both free from that burden 😉👍🏼

i can easily do all the beatle's singing voices but john's 😭 whenever i want to play and sing a beatles song on my guitar the john songs never sound right. example A: a day in the life. got everything down but the vocals 😢

hmmmmm I think that's down to interpretation, and my opinion is just that... it wouldn't really mean anything, because you would either agree or disagree with whatever I say, and I find sometimes it's best just to keep my opinion to myself (not trying to be funny, it's just the way I look at life)

@@RockYourBestVocalson the version of yer blues by The Dirty Mac, John sings more like how you was showing us how Paul would sing yer blues at the start of the video, rather than nasal as you say. I think the original comment on the other videos asking you to do John's voice on yer blues, imo they might of been talking about The Dirty Mac version, as I think his voice is so much better there and it packs a hell of a punch. The way he screams and his voice sort of croaks, you can tell by the way he's singing he would have been exhausted afterwards! What a fucking song. Your doing good though but too nasally imo

Helpful, thank you! I think you could even improve on your Lennon voice if you wanted to. Your calm Lennon seems more authentic to me than your screaming Lennon. In fact there are only few voice teachers on the net who do this really convincing - Lennon seams to have done something technically "wrong" ;)
