    Camotes island is consist of 4 towns. San Francisco, Poro, Tudela and Pilar. Pilar is a separate island but it’s still part of camotes. I grew up in a small place part of Poro which is my father’s hometown. San Francisco is my mother’s hometown. There’s so much to see and visit in Camotes island.

    Camotes really is "a paradise". It is my wife`s birth place in Poro Island where still is her mother`s place. Every time we travel to our "home n:o 2" in Cebu Mactan, I really expect to travel to "our cottage" there in Teguis. Thanks for sharing these places while now in wintertime in our home in Finland.

    So, after watching all of your videos from Malaysia thailand Indonesia and the Philippines, I have come up for a few observations, in Indonesia and thailand and Malaysia, there are the countries flags everywhere, but in the Philippines, you never see many Filipino flags.
    In Indonesia, thailand and Malaysia, you can go just about anywhere and you find food stalls, markets, restaurants everywhere open just about 24/7 and the majority are cheap as chips ! Where in the Philippines you don't see many roadside foodstalls or restaurants and I noticed that you never see veggies on the side or on the main dish, they don't use many chillies or spices and the food in general looks boring with not much colour, I have found that even is laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, they have their national flags everywhere and they always serve veggies with all foods and they have heaps of colour and but the Vietnamese only use a little bit of chillies and spices.

      It seems the food in the Philippines is much like here in Costa Rica, mostly rice, beans, pork and chicken with some fish. Maybe because it was Spanish run for a while as well. Either way it looks amazing and the people seem very inviting and friendly!

    • @alexdetagxi8148
      @alexdetagxi8148 Před 4 měsíci

      Lol, true that sorry about the Philippino foods not akin to what you like and prefer to eat yes they are mostly like to eat meat same as other " pacific islanders "" Hawaiians, Guamanians and other poly islanders that is why sometimes Philippines is not complete ASIANS OR MORE LIKE ASEAN WHEN IT COMES TO DIETARY CONSUMPTIONS THOUGH THEY HAVE PLENTY VEGGIES BUT VEGGIES ARE SEEN AS POOR MANS DIET JUST AN OLD SAYING THAT THEY ARE STUCK INTO ITS GOING TO BE AWHILE BEFORE THEY CAN ADAPT TO VEGETARIAN BECAUSE ITS SEEN AS POOR MANS FOOD. VEGGIES IS JUST NOT PREFERRED NOT IF THEY CAN HELP IT, THEY WOULD RATHER DIE HARD AT WORK JUST TO EAT MEAT DIET. THEY WILL SELL THEIR MOST PRICED POSSESSIONS JUST TO BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE EATING MEAT EVERYDAY. SO I HOPE THAT SHEDS SOME LIGHT AS TO WHY PHILIPPINOS DO NOT LIKE VEGGIES. BY CHOICE.
