For those traveling from Spokane to Sandpoint, jump off I-90 at Post Falls, and head north to Rathdrum. Skip all the stop-and-go and traffic lights in Coeur d'Alene. If you're going from Sandpoint to places like Glacier Park, the drive on hiway 200 and then 56 to Libby is much more picturesque than US 2 through Bonners Ferry.
I'll probably be retiring soon, and Sandpoint is definitely on my short list.

That is great advice! Traffic can get bad during the summer tourist months.

Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! What is your opinion of the best and worse part of living in Sandpoint ID?

@@Livingnorthidaholife the best is the mountains, the lake. Worst is the tourist every year. A lot of them are rude and they make it difficult for the people that live here to enjoy the hiking trails throughout Bonner County.

@@SAHAMH123 I can see that! Yes the outdoors is second to none and some of the tourists make it hard to enjoy at times. I cant say enough good about the residents though. I have always had a great experience with the people that live in the North Idaho region. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!
